For the sword fight, we put two on a plate facing each other. Stick a toothpick in both of them pointing at the other one. I think we set it on a couple of minutes, but we pull them out once someone "wins". Whoever's peep deflates the other wins.

This isn't a very good video I found, but you get the idea:

That's just too funny!!! Now I wish I had bought some of those Peeps I was eying at the store. But I now will wait till they go on clearance- in 2 days. Got my toothpicks ready!!

I bought Peeps....now I'm going to have to challenge Jared to a Peep war in the morning. I don't think he's ever tried Peeps in the micro, so I might score some points for doing something fun for once. :rotfl:

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Happy Easter everyone!!! Hope you are having a great day. We are keeping it low key today. Went grocery shopping (we do this every Sunday), and now DH is hidding eggs for ds! YES, ds is 13 and is still hunting for eggs (inside of course, so he "doesn't look like a freak" LOL...dh put coupons in the eggs...some for food places (he makes his own coupons), some that say "BAD EGG, you didn't win" and some that are numbered. Bran gets to find the bag that goes with the # and gets his prize. He really enjoys this...and the "prizes" so we continue doing it. )

Time for the egg hunt...

I seriously thought about hiding eggs last night too. I should have! Our Easter Bunny used to put coins in them...and even took the time to make sure each kid would get the same amount of money. We live out in the middle of nowhere, so I honestly think the kids would have still had fun doing it, just for the competition. Now I'm wishing I had!

Not much else going on here today. Hopefully I'll finish the bedroom so that I can start pre-packing.

Happy Easter everyone.

I think i finally learned what a peep is eh? (We don't have them here in the UK)

They come in "bunny" shapes too. They are made of marshmallow with sugar on the outside.
Sometimes they're more fun to play with than to eat.
This will be us soon....Peeps on the Beach!

Love the peeps on the beach. That was cute. Happy Easter everyone!!! I don't think that you can be too old for an easter egg hunt. :) Maybe we can hide eggs on the ship, although I don't think that Disney will like that. Is anyone offended by getting plastic eggs in their FE? Hope everyone has a good day! We're one more day closer to crusing!

Happy easter everyone.
We don't celebrate easter but love the candy that you all get to enjoy so we usually partake in that:thumbsup2
We slept late this morning then went for a drive to Stone Mountain where Aubrey and Adam did the sky hike while I wondered around the stores then we went to the top of the mountain for a look-see and then to the 4D show 'journey to the centre of the earth' and we just got home.

Back to school for the kids tomorrow - whoo hooo...

We had Peeps all over our Easter Brunch today. I told my boss about the Peep Jostling & our Executive chef said he knew all about it. So I gathered some Peeps and some toothpicks & we proceeded to do the match. No one but the 2 of us knew about it (I only did because of you all) Everyone was just looking at us like we were crazed (little do they know that we are.) Well Mr Blue Peep won. Was a highlight of my work day. Although a long day, our brunch was a hit and loved by all.

That's a great story!:)

40 days until the cruise??? OMG...where has the time gone? Didn't get to finish the FE bags this weekend, too much spring cleaning going on.

Still waiting to hear about mom starting dialysis, waiting on the "stat" lab work done on Thursday...as of this AM when I called, they still didn't have the results. Off to one of her appts with another dr in a few. On thursday the dr said she would have to start dialysis ASAP...we thought about cancelling our trip...buy my sis will take her to her appts then, and I am flying my grandma in to stay with mom during that time. They all agree we should go have fun on the cruise since we have been planning so long and they are here to help.

DS had his dentist appt this morning (off from school today) and Oh my! There goes some of our crusie money!:sad2:

I'm still in shock that our cruise is coming up so soon.
