I have a friend going on that cruise!!! She almost went on our cruise, couldn't get main dining and booked the other cruise before she realized we were going on the May 23rd cruise. Anyways...she says she'll report back with info about Tortola and pictures as well!!! (I know her from another board). I can't wait to see all the reports!!

I am going to work on my FE's this weekend and see how all that goes.
Still want to do some magnets and other stuff but just haven't had any inclination to do anything these days - been really lazy for some reason.

I got my Disney Magical Express stuff in the mail today. We're staying 4 days at AKV Jambo House (savanah view - whoopie) before the cruise. This means its REAL CLOSE.

I also have a new vow renewal coordinator. My old one left Disney Dream Weddings. I got a message from her today while doing my pre-operative testing at the hospital (I think I scared my phlebotomist (sp?) with my Lion King ringer - remember the beggining of the song?). Anyway, I digress... everything should be all set. Ceremony is Thursday. Flowers have been chosen. Music is done. The girls' special gift will be presented.

Thank you for keeping up the list. I'll be on my way to the liquor store this week (2 for the Man, I won't forget). The non-drink people will get something special too! I already took care of the kids.

I'm still stuck for pre-teens and teens. Anyone have any ideas? Even though I have a 16 year old daughter... I know all kids are different. While she would LOVE a tinkerbell charm bracelet, some teens would think its lame.

I'm really pleased with myself. I've been making door magnets all evening. DH is out with his work mates so i've curled up with photoshop and have been merrily sorting out my magnet pics. Don't think I've gone overboard (no pun intended)

Doing it makes me realise how close we are and how i've done nothing for my work trip in the week running up to the cruise.

Oh well, FE gifts next. Work arrangments can wait until back to the office on Tuesday.

Other than smack my almost 16 yr old son upside the head (which I DON'T...only wish I could) I have no idea either how to get rid of the attitude. But it is true....they do eventually grow out of it. At least my girls did. In their eyes, I am finally "smart". My son still believes that he knows EVERYTHING.

One day, I want to stay at AKL with the savannah view. Daughter did for her honeymoon and then lost her camera, so I never even got to see any pictures.

As for the teens and the FE's....I don't think my teen daughter cared much one way or the other, but my son loved it if we got candy. Skittles, Starburst, things like that. He says he gets overdosed on chocolate with the desserts, so he likes to get "fruity" candy.

Just popping in. They're trying to kill me this month. I had 1 day off last week, none this week, and none next week. And many of the days are 12- 15 hours. But look on the bright side of it. More money to spend on the cruise!!

I can't go pick up mini bottles this soon. I know I would be forced to drink them all before we cruise. Best I wait till the week before & then pack them right away.

I am the banker for our June family cruise. Two family members owe me $3700. Told them I needed it by the end of March. It really irkes me. Think I will let one of them be banker next time. If their payment doesn't come in by the time my credit card payment is due, the cost of their cruise is going to go by up by exactly the amount of interest I am charged. So there!!!

I need to sort through my FE stuff someday soon. I need to sort it out by age. Won't be happening this week or next, though.

Her brother's girl friend gave her a sofabed love seat to put in her room (where she's going to fit it in, I haven't a clue.) I've been telling her for 2 days it's going to rain tomorrow. It's in the middle of the backyard right now because she is so busy doing who knows what (that means nothing put hanging out with friends & yakking on the phone.) Anyway- there it is, still in the yard. I tried to move it myself when I got home from work. NO go. So I covered it with a tarp. I should have left it get rained on, but it's not in me. Okay rant over...at least for today.

Jared's bike is out in the rain right now. I told him a half dozen times, too. But then, he IS the one who knows everything.

Jay's going to the cabin tomorrow, so his chainsaw is in the back of the truck. He was in bed when it started to rain, so he goes outside to save the saw with nothing but a coat on.
Just because the weather people are wrong 99% of the time doesn't mean you shouldn't pay attention 100% of the time.


By the way, was thinking of you today, hoping you're okay and they aren't working you into the ground. You will be SO READY for this cruise!! We'll have to pamper you!

Please don't misunderstand. My 16 year old can ruin any fun time, in fact I visit my hairdresser to cover the greys since she turned 9. There's a song by Sting with the phrase "She can be all four seasons in one day". I just know she's a Disney Tinkerbell junkie.

I know how you feel. I won't bore you with the details, but my company was bought out by a big comapny from Dallas, so after months of software conversions, lay offs and training and working every waking moment, they have decided to move our accounting dept to Dallas. So as of may 15th, I will be unemployed. So I am so ready to get away for a week and spend time with my mom & sister. It will also be noce to be out of touch. I just spent a week training the girl from Dallas who is replacing me. She really had not interest and couldn't wait to be done so she could get to the beach!! So it should be interesting.

I am truly thankful I have a good job. I am, but sometimes I mutter under my breath when we back back to back to back 14 hour shifts. My feet are muttering this morning too. Gotta run, the kids Easter Carnival is calling for my presence. 150 kids and their parents to feed brunch to. Just gonna sugar them all up and then send them home to their parents.
