Thanks for posting the link anty30. I had been reading about the port change due to all of the damage from the hurricanes. I plan to keep an eye on the boards to get some info on Costa Maya excursions.

Well, anty - thanks for the update on Mexico. I hope there is good silver shopping in Costa Maya! I will miss Cozumel tho!

anty30, I saw that on cruisecal a couple of weeks ago and wondered if the webmaster of that site put that in when Disney first changed our itinerary. As you know, Disney's website now shows our cruise going back to Cozumel. I guess we'll see in February if and when the Magic does indeed return to Cozumel.

Ok, I spoke with my TA today about the conflicting reports about Cozumel vs. Costa Maya and she said that nothing has been confirmed with Disney. She said if she called 4 times, she'd get 4 different responses! We won't know for sure where will be in Mexico until we get closer to the cruise.

One thing she did in fact confirm was that Cozumel was hit very badly and that it isn't near ready for tourists yet so she wouldn't be surprised if we did go to Costa Maya instead.

In some way, I hope we do go to Costa Maya - I'd get to see more of Mexico! But, I guess that's not great for those of you who were going to Mexico for the first time!

And we are not bringing any booze on board Anty.....not sure about anyone else!

We are cat. 9 #2108. Would love an upgrade, however, I am just happy to be going. I am really starting to get on DH last nerve because I cannot stop talking about the cruise and of course because I cant stop talking about all of you guys too! I think we might pick up a bottle of rum in Key West. It would be nice to have a shot in our Diet Cokes every now and again.

We are actually staying in a category 10 stateroom 2603. Since there are no Florida resident discounts, we are ok with this! We are bringing our beverages on with us but always seem to accrue quite a bill before we leave! DH has to have a morning bloody mary daily on the cruise- said there are no other as good
As far as Costa Maya, that sounds good to me! We have never been there but if we go to Cozumel, that will be fine too. Hey I am just ready to cruise

Hi everyone!

We are in two of the connecting SPH rooms on deck 5, #5522 and 5524. On our first cruise we had a secret verandah room #6134 and DD and GF had an inside stateroom across the hall. I hope we don't miss the verandah too much! At least we'll be able to see outside.

We will probably bring some beer, Smirnoff ice, wine and bottled water for the 4 of us.

I wouldn't mind going to Costa Maya too as I've never been to Mexico and it sounds like it would be easier to get to the ruins from there. Cozumel would be fine too as long as its pretty well back to normal.

Is anyone going to make signs for their doors?

Hello my dis friends , I have an update.......
I paid our DCL in full today yeeeeehaaaaaaa and
Booked the airline. I have been checking the airfare for months now, it has been round $366ish per ticket, well today it was $277 yahoooooooooo and
Confirmed rental cars and hotel.

Now, lets go on vacation.
