I am so excited, I will be staying at the fort for the first time since since 2009ish in may (6-8 in tent 8-14 in cabin). We'll be renting golf carts From Kenny at tee time!! I will be 5 months pregnant during our stay, and when we tent camp we're staying in my Lovely 18'x17' Northwest Terrority tent that i paid $25 for! I got a really good deal lol. If anybody has any experience with Kenny for golf cart rentals recently please post about it. Also any experience with Florida in may please share your weather experience lol.

Glad to hear about your trip. Apparently you did get a good deal for $25 on that tent.

We have dealt with Kenny each of our visits and had nothing but great results. However, like any other business, there are the goods and bads. It takes about an hour start to finish to swap out the cart and get it delivered. You'll have to meet his man offsite. He'll have the cart already loaded on a trailer and hooked to his truck so you will need to swap vehicles and pull the cart in, drop it off at the site, and return his truck. The location is about a mile and a half off-site but easy to get to from the Fort.

May is a beautiful time of year. And a tent/cabin combo. Great!

I'd like to do a May trip, but it's tough with the youngest DD still in school. That gets too close to the end of the school year to pull her out for a trip. We may do an "Easter" trip in 2017 because we are probably going to get an AP on our next trip in August. It makes sense for us since we will be there in August (Me, DW, DD11) and again in November (Add in DD19 and her BF22 who will not be getting an AP). My DW's Birthday is in April and she'd love to have it at Disney, even though it's likely to be crowded.

We have been camping at the Fort in early May for the past four years. Always had good weather .... like 80 during the day and maybe 60's at night. Wishing you sunshine and lots of fun at the Fort.

Thanks!! I've been going crazy thinking it would be way to hot for me there But those temps seem do-able!! lol!!

We usually Love going in November. but DH and I are flying Space A from Germany, so our best bet to get the cheap military flights was May.

:) that was the only way i could get DH to stay at the fort, he's kinda iffy about it still because me being pregnant and him just getting surgery. BUT i told him about how relaxing the fort is so we compromised on this arrangement LOL!!!
