Thanks Jennylyn! Hey, I noticed you're from Jersey too... how are you guys planning on getting there? I can't get the Southwest Air prices on airfare yet because it's too far out. I'm entertaining flying, train or driving. lol

We fly united ewr to Mco. They have had the flights out for over a month now.

Just joined dis boards and happy to have found this thread! Tried the link for the FB page and it said it was down... we will be staying at the Poly May 10-18. We went this past May and it was an awesome week, only rained for about 10 mins, perfect weather, small crowds. So excited to start planning again!

We really are planning on rack rate and paying for the dining plan....but free dining would be sweet!

Free dining would be fun, but we always end up with a deal on the room or package anyway even without free dining!

Any kind of deal would be awesome really.

Our plan is to budget for rack rate and paying for the dining plan. Any kind of offer is just a bonus then!

We are planning on April 26-May 3 Haven't booked yet because we are unsure of onsite vs offsite for our budget. Any indication that we could have free dining? That would definitely guarantee onsite for us.

I'm no expert on this subject.... But I followed a link on another thread to mouse savers? I think it was....

They had a chart of discounts from the last three years, along with the release dates for the discount. Late April early May looks like it has traditionally been a room discount of 15% to 30%.

But who knows?

We plan to book regardless!

We have gone around the same time in May since 2011, and haven't had free dining any of those years. I do think there was a free dining one time before that, but don't quote me on it. Although, when I am looking at prices and trying to figure out what hypothetical discount there might be, it usually works out that free dining or a room discount are around the same type of savings.

Sorry I've not read beyond the first page yet but wanted to wave hi because I'll be there!
It will be our second trip (first was may 2011) and our first with 5 children as we've had a baby since last time, he will be almost 2.

Although we've picked almost the exact same dates as last time (12th may for 14 nights), I'm a little worried about how busy it will be. We want to catch SWW but were under the impression that May in general is a quiet time of year - yet this time we keep hearing about spring break!

This will be our last chance to go to Disney until my babies are all adults, so it's a very very special and important trip to me, I really hope that it's as magical as possible.

Hi new here,

just booked our first Disney Trip for May 19-26 2014 for my DD5 turning 6 DH and Me so happy!!

Staying at AoA with DDP and PP+ ( just made sense for us)

Can anyone confirm Star Wars wkend as of yet?

I hope we miss the long weekend crowd. Starting to doubt the week a bit but DD bday is the 23 and I can't image going before or after since there is no price differences to be there on"her day"

Anyone else looking at the same week? Love to hear thoughts.

We're going May 2014 too, but are debating staying offsite again. We have two young boys who don't sleep very well in a hotel, so the extra space is so nice. However, if we get free dining, we'll stay onsite and put up with the limited sleep! We went mid May 2011 and we had free dining! However, I think it was a PIN code sent to my email.

I didn't see any special Mother's Day things when we were there this year except they were handing out roses or carnations at the park gates.
