We've been to SWW twice and that was plenty for me. It is sooooo crowded! My teenager loved it though.

I got the pin code!!! I had to change our dates from June 2th-10th to May 24th-June 1st and I also changed from French Quarter to Riverside for the larger discount but I saved 30%.

I'm thrilled especially with getting a discount for May this far in advance!!!

More than likely, GP will get the discounts on jan 2 for the late spring dates, that's what's it's been for the last couple years if I remember correctly. Maybe someone can clarify more. I think that mousesavers.com had something about it too, I just can't find it.

Don't give up hope! This was the first time, after 19 trips to Disney, that I received an email from them with a pin.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have received a PIN in the past, but it was through snail mail. I'll take one either way, of course.

I called today and no pin. I use to get pins before I booked our first trip but not anymore. I really want that RO pin we don't do the dining plan. Our dates are May 24-May 31.

Ughhhh...I was looking for a particular email from Disney and I just came across a PIN code in an email that was sent to me a year ago. It was for free dining. Disney wasn't even on our radar at the time so I didn't even bother to open it when I got it. I know it doesn't really matter but it still sucks to find it now.

30% off is totally worth switching around your resort dates. I was only able to apply the 30% to some of our nights but it did save us some money. Like you, I didn't figure May pin codes would come so soon.

I believe that the May, 2013 Visa offer came out on December 3, 2012. I'd have to go back and look at my reservation but I'm almost positive that was the date. It was released to the general public soon thereafter.

Oops, I was off by a tad. I modified the reservation on December 27th which is the day the promo came out. I received the revised reservation notification that same day and a revised reservation invoice on the next day. Not much earlier than the new year but a little bit.

It was released to the general public on January 3.

Could I please clarify, if you book a Disney resort now and there are discounts to the general public offered in, say, January, you can have the discount applied then?

I'm wondering this as well. Either if I were to receive a pin or if a public discount comes out can it be applied to an existing reservation to lower the overall price?

Yes you can apply a discount to an existing reservation, as long as your room is available.

We made our first trip during the same week in 2012 (first week of May) and had a sizeable percentage off (30%, I think). Would love that again! We're going to book completely realizing we may end up paying rack rate, but we have everything crossed for discount. Will keep checking in here.

There is a pin out for this time frame you should call and ask if you have a pin attached to your account.

Yes. Be advised, though, that there are usually a limited number of rooms/categories available under the special offers. Having said that, I've never had a problem having a special offer applied to our existing reservation.
