I've seen people getting PINs for nearly every month. Someone called asking about October and was given free dining over the phone. Magical things happen all the time.

Sorry... Excuse my ignorance on this subject... But you can call and see if they have any pins they'd give you?
We have 6 adults going so it's pretty darn pricy. Any discount would be great

You can do that. Sometimes they sprinkle pixie dust when it's the least expected. Many people call every week just to check.

Happened to us last August. We were hoping for the public free dining promo. But last year, the dates didn't start until September--no go with kids in school! I kept waiting and waiting for a PIN when I heard about so many other people getting them. No luck. So I called and asked, nothing. So I called the next day, nothing. So I called the third day---BINGO! Free dining! And we already had the stay booked so we were going either way. But with Free Dining, we upgraded to POFQ instead of All Stars! Never did get an e-mail or snail mail saying there was a PIN on my account. So definitely call!!!!

Indeed for this year. Another person called about a September trip and was given free dining. Disney has been sprinkling pixie dust to various people who have called and just asked about it. So it could happen to anyone.

I never get PINS either, but my sister does. Unfortunately, she's not going with us or I'd gladly use her PIN! Oh, the waiting is really getting to me!!!

Joining in on the fun. DH and I are actually going in February, but DD and her BFF are going in May so I said I would watch for discounts, etc. as they're both busy college students, and I love planning Disney vacations even if they're not for me . They've committed to going and are prepared to pay full price, but sure wouldn't complain about a discount.

I wonder if it has more to do with the CM you get on the phone more than anything else. Would not surprise me at all.

That might very well be the case--another reason to keep trying! I was just happy it worked!

Yep! I do it all the time! I'm sure when they see my number calling in they all groan "ohhhh, here we go, it's her again!" Maybe they will get sick of me calling and just give me some sort of discount so I'll leave them alone.

I had a room booked with no discount at all when they gave me the free dining PIN last year. I was thinking the same as you, but it worked!
