How fun that you got to meet up with your WoW friends!
I'm sorry, I laughed when you lectured your DH.
We had an absolute blast with our WoW friends. I really wished they could have tagged along for most of the vacation. It really helped DH's mood, and they were just all around fun to be with.
Why are you apologizing? I was laughing as I typed it.

DH kept asking what I was doing. "Nothing."
I was just really fed up with him whining and trying to ruin everyone's good time.
Comments for "Does Crankpants Ruin the Day?":
It sounds like Crankypants might have been getting tired. Maybe you should have let him stay back and get a nap....lol!!!
My DH was a bit crabby at the beginning of the trip. I cannot blame that on being tired, though.
I love that you surprised the kiddos with the Storytime adventure and also happy to hear that Mary Poppins was so interactive. I hope the other kids that weren't paying attention didn't put a damper on things. Cannot wait to see if you got to eventually meet up with your Wow friends. I know you were so looking forward to meeting them on your trip.
On to the next installments......
He was tired before we even got to WDW.

He whined in the car the entire trip down, he whined all day arrival day and Monday. He whined on our Free Day, and I told him then if he didn't shut up, I wouldn't schedule anymore Free Days for him. He stopped whining the rest of the day, but picked it back up Wednesday. He was whining off and on. And of course, the kids would whine too. So I was hearing it from everyone. Sure, I was tired and hot, too. But I know how to keep my trap shut.
The other kids didn't really put a damper on things, but part of me was struggling to not go over to the kids and remind them that everyone else was trying to listen.

I really do try to avoid telling other people's kids what to do ... but it was hard, since the other parent's didn't care. I was thankful that my kids were so well behaved and only spoke when spoken to. They weren't interrupting every other word in the story, or disrupting everyone else from enjoying the experience. But kids will be kids, and it wasn't bad. Just wish some parents would have intervened with their kids towards the end.
I cannot believe you are already planning another trip. YAY! for me, though, I get to follow along!!
Teppan Edo sounds good. I have never been there. Glad you had a talk with DH and straightened him out....
So glad you got to meet up with the WoW friends. They sound hilarious!!! We also saw Cpt. EO and wasn't too impressed.
We saw the Duffy Bear plushes and wasn't quite sure what he was. Thanks for the update on him being Mickey's teddybear. I will have to relate that to the kiddos. I have a pic with J wearing a Duffy Mickey ears, but had no clue....
Cannot wait to read your next installment of "I Didn't Know I Married a Turtle" Sounds very interesting.
If you think you can fit in my suitcase, you can sneak along.
I'm very excited, but it won't be "real" until I put the deposit down.
Teppan was good, it wasn't great, but it was good. We'd happily go back (even if it was just for cake

).
DH thankfully chilled out for the rest of the trip after that. I'm sure he kept whining in his head, but at least he wasn't vocal about it.
Our WoW friends were great. I was having so much fun hanging out with them. I had been worried they'd slow us down, but they really didn't.
Glad you finally figured out who Duffy was.

DD wanted to buy one, but they were soooo expensive!
I'm looking forward to my next installment the most. It contains probably one of the BEST moments of our entire trip.
