May 2011 Check In-And May Has Arrived!!!!

Well we've had to cancel our May trip  and are now going for Christmas time in December  the tax man was just not kind to us this year.

AWE!! So sorry to hear that  but at least the trip is not cancelled forever! December here you come!!:cheer2::cheer2:

We are going May 3 - may 10, staying in a 1br at VGC. This is our 2nd trip.

We will be going to DL May 8th through May 15th. Our first DVC trip "home" to the VGC.

Can't wait to get there!

Flying in direct from Calgary late afternoon May 16. Plan on taking the Disneyland Resort Express down from LAX and are booked into the Camelot. 3 day hopper passes; leaving from LAX late afternoon May 20.

Self & DSis  and her two grandkids: DNe(8) :earsboy: and DNi (7) princess:. All of them are first timers and I'm officially "in charge"! Can't wait!

 Annette

We'll be there for a quick trip--May 22nd in DTD and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner and then May 23rd in the parks! Can't wait!
Staying at Desert Inn & Suites! :-)

We are 60 days away from our arrival!!! I was able to make our WOC dining package PS this morning. :cool1:

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Nothing says more than being close to your trip than being able to make PS arrangements!! Well, that and actually standing at the gates on the first day

Well, yes, being at Disneyland is truly better than calling them from home! :rotfl2: Still, this is just one more step in the right direction. I have two more PSs to make this week as we reach the 60 day mark for those plans. We are trying Cafe Orleans for lunch in the middle of our trip and Steakhouse 55 for breakfast on our checkout, leave for home day. I can't wait to make the calls!

Three nights, May 18, 19, 20 at the HoJo. We are stopping at DL on our way back from Hawaii, then fly home on the 21st. Hawaii is a long awaited return trip and DL is the icing on the cake!

Hadn't decided how many days to do in the parks but am disappointed to learn that DL will close early on the 19th due to a Grad Night. Since we will be on a red-eye flight in from Hawaii, had thought the 18th probably wouldn't be a good day for the parks and I was counting on the 19th as a day to do as much as possible.

Does anyone know how busy the parks will be for this time period?

In case any of you have APs, the new rates came out today and they are awesome! 40% off -- we booked today!

Did you call or just went with what was online? I saw that PPH was $188 for my dates which is still too high for me, that's only 25% off. (And is the cheapest it gets all month.) If it was 40% off I would book that in a heartbeat. The other portion of our May trip is now looking to be in a state of flux since the resort we're headed to in Utah is opening later than we'd hoped, so we're contemplating moving dates altogether but if I could find a cheap enough rate I'd just plan my trip around Disneyland ...

The "special" Spring rate is $213 a night (25% off) for the cheapest night in May, so $188 is the 40% off. Go for it!

51 days until we leave and 53 until we arrive at Disney.

I just had them add the spring discount to our room, as we are staying onsite and paid for the rest of our trip.

All PS reservations are done, now all I have to do is wait and Pack.

We will be at Hojos from 13th-27th May.

I am so excited to see that Fantasmic will be on while we are there
