May 2003 Trip to WDW getting ready to go

After months of planning to go Dinsey, whene to stay and everything that comes with going, I was so excited.

I had not been since 1989 when they were building MGM, I had stayed at the Contemporary it was FAB! My gram took meand gramps worked for Kodak so we had passes to all sorts of things and I even got to take an art class with an animator for the day. I had high expectations.
This was alittle different it was myself (kelly), my husband Chris and our 4 year son Shawn or Shawno to me. Wehad decided to go down for alittle over two weeks. We decided to drive from Massachsuetts and people said we were crazy!! I had changed accomodations several times lastly ending up DoubleTree Guest Suites in the park with a great rate from Mousesavers! We were checking into the DTGS on May 5th a monday and checking out on the 16th a Friday for the drive home. I bought my tickets at the Disney store before we left and had packed the car, filled a cooler with food and drinks, I even got a fast pass monitor for the car. That way we could drive thru the tools down the east coast and save time no waiting in lines especially in New York !
I took Friday May 2, 2003 to get everthing in order so that when Chris came home he was going to go to bed and wake up at 1230am and we were gonna leave! Shawno was so excited I could not control him we gave him a Disney kids book wih his ticket for Xmas and it had been building up since then we were all ready to go !!!!
