Snowing in Ohio! Yikes! This is awful. Also worrying about my brother an his family...they left Saturday night for Italy. Worried about the earthquakes. Prayers to everyone in Italy...

Sending LOTs of pixie dust to Italy... pixiedust:

Well the good news is, it is not snowing in Florida, although it is supposed to get really cold tomorrow - like in the 60s.. brrrrrr :scared1:

Well, I have another question for the gang!
What exactly does you cabin host/hostess do? Are they the one totally responsible for your cabin (i.e., cleaning, making the bed, etc.) or do they recommend activities or what? I know when I booked, I asked the rep if they put the little decorative animal shaped towels out and she said yes (don't laugh, I really look forward to that!:yay:). I'm assuming the host does all of that too. The reason I question it is because it seems as if your cabin host does an awful lot to take care of the cabin and occupants, but your suppose to tip the Dining staff the same. Any comments? :goodvibes

I can't wait for the cold air headed our way to get here!! :) I'm so glad we get at least one more chance to enjoy it before the looooooong hot summer sets in.

The cabin stewards do work very hard. :scared: Besides making the bed and the usual room cleaning, they have to take down the bunk beds at night and also make the towel animals. When we first met our cabin steward, he filled up our cooler (soft case) with ice - and kept it full the entire trip. I wouldn't hesitate to bring up any issue related to the stateroom.

I don't think I would ask these folks about recommended activities; although it never hurts to ask.

The wait staff appear to work very hard as well. They tend to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that everyone is happy with their meal. By all means, if you don't like something then be sure to tell them.

They went to Rome for my DN, Volleyball travel team. I am not certain where they were last night.....Still waiting to hear from them. Thanks for the wishes everyone! I will keep all posted!

Hey Everyone!

Laura - My DW called and told me that the bracelets and magnet arrived today. Thank you. :worship:

You are welcome! Hope you like them! oh, and the magnet I made! :goodvibes

Is there anyone out there that has NOT received their bracelets?

On another note, DH just called me to ask me to get his list ready for things that he has to do in order to get ready for our trip. I know none of you know him, but he is really hard to get excited about anything, something is up if he wants his list this early......could it be that he is actually looking forward to this?:confused3 This past weekend he even asked exactly where it was we were going.....:confused3 Thank goodness the light is finally shining :worship::worship:

Zerog-Thanks for the reply regarding the cabin host vs. the dining host. Other people I've talked to have always said that was one of the best parts of the trip was the services offered by the cabin host (okay, most of them are like me that do ALL household chores, so I LOVE it when someone pampers me:lovestruc). I'm sure the dining host does a fantastic job, too, seeing as they remember all your likes, dislikes, etc. (kind of like Mom use to!:goodvibes). I guess if one really impresses someone, you can always give a little extra to that person. Sorry, I'm rambling on but I get goosebumps at the thought of being pampered! LOL!!:woohoo:
Can't wait to sail!!!:cloud9:

Our CRUISE DOCUMENTS came today!!!

Ditto.. Documents came in with the wrist bands. Reality is REALLY starting to set in now. We're almost in the teen-day countdown (19, 18, etc.). My DW agreed it is time to set aside a suitcase to start throwing things in. IT IS TIME TO BEGIN PACKING.. woohoo :woohoo:

I noticed that we haven't heard from a few Magical Mayniacs in quite some time. I wonder if they are still going on this cruise.

I have some news:

Our CRUISE DOCUMENTS came today!!!:banana::banana::banana:

:( Ours didn't.....we must have slow mail carriers. On a good note, I arrived at work to find a present on my desk this morning. My coworker/BF had found a pirate hat at a yard sale and bought it for me!!:woohoo:

We heard from my brother. They are well! Thanks for the pixie dust!

No cruise documents yet. Need to clean the house! I am busy trying to figure out all of the goodies for the FE's!:-)

The four children are driving me "ga-zink A zonk"! I am so excited for some Mommy and Daddy time on the cruise!!!

This is GREAT!!!:-)
