WELL................the party has moved from deck 2 to deck 6! :rotfl:I didn't even look at our itinerary til tonight and we have been upgraded to a Cat 7 (so now we have a verandah)...but we are aft on deck 6. Cabin # 6640...Zerog, Ashlotte and Pink, can you please change our cabin # on all the lists. Thank-you!!

I have read the reports on the rooms at the back of the ship, many comment on the engine noise when pulling into port...hopefully it isn't too bad!

Now you are more in our neighborhood. We will right above you and across the hall. :woohoo:  :cool1:

Maybe this is a calm before the storm kind of thing - circumstances happening before our grand and wonderful upcoming vacation. Ok, I'm a little superstitious in that when something bad happens I like to think that means something good is going to come along and even things out.

Later that day, as a stroke of luck, I dug out the passports and was explaining what they were all about to my DS9. Upon closer examination, I noticed that his passport had expired last October. :scared1: Then I checked our DD's and it had expired as well. If there is any good news, I called DCL and they will accept a valid birth certificate. However, it could get messy if there was an emergency and we had to fly home. And lastly, the fake pin issue has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Sooooo.. Just 32 days to go... :yay:

Randy....believe it or not you probably have time to get your passports renewed before the cruise. Using your expired passports for ID verification for renewal will expedite the turn around. Plus they DO send your old passports back to you as well.

My friend got his 1st passport in just 2weeks!!

Give it a try......:surfweb:

Thanks J
We did just that last Thursday. Both parents were required to be present and there was a lot of paperwork. We had to pay extra to "expedite" the requests. The scary thing is that the Birth Certificates were sent along with the paperwork. :scared1: Well, the Clerk of Courts said we could get replacement B.C.'s quickly if push came to shove.

Thanks J

When I renewed my passport, I did not need my BC. I used the expired PP. It helped the turn around time tremendously. The government does not have to go through the steps to verify your info (since they did that originally with your first PP).

In any case, good luck......:thumbsup2

Okay, so now we will have to drink those margarita's on the verandah!:rotfl2:
Okay, I can see it's time to review:
The Verandah Rights

You have the right to be on the verandah.
You have the right to drink the beverage of your choice on the verandah.
If you do not choose a beverage, one will be chosen for you.
Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?

;)

Wonder how many drinks I will need to sit through Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers with my daughter!!:-)?

I'm not sure they'll serve enough drinks for that. :lmao:

Actually, other than for curiosity's sake, my DD and I both can't stand either, which is why I'm hopeful about Wall-E and a few more non-concert films

(okay, concert films in 3D? where's the fun in that? :confused3)

Thanks, Randy!! I needed to hear that horn this morning! Guess I better turn the page on my calendar, too, now that it's April.

Michelle, it's only another week and a half and tax season will officially be over!! Of course, then we have to catch up on all the bookkeeping that got put on hold while we did taxes. Sigh......

Laura, congrats on that upgrade and the verandah!!! Thank goodness pink elephants read you your Verandah Rights! Party on!!

OK, back to work for me

Anyone that comes to party on our Verandah needs to be aware of those rights!! :thumbsup2:lmao:

Hi everyone !

We just got our cabin number and I am not impressed by our travel agent. I specifically told her that we wanted cat 8, but I guessed that she decided that she was booking us in cat 9. I just found out when I retreived my file and our cabin number was assigned... I just e-mail her and she said that she was sure that she told me it was cat 9. and that she was really sorry :rolleyes1 Well, anyway, we are in cabin 2510 on deck 2. I was excited, but right now I am just so mad .... I'll be fine by tonight, it's the weekend after all :wave2:

Last weekend I went over to my friend Liz's house. She is a big Disney fan, and took a DCL cruise a year ago. She showed me pictures, told me what to expect, loaned me a pirate costume :yay: and told me that there was so much to do that they were rarely in their cabin! So not to worry, Winstanik! :)

Going crazy! Trying to figure out great ideas for the adults for the FE's!! I can tell you that DH thinks that I went off the deep end!! But, he is helping with the fun!

DH wanted to know when I started drinking tequila!! LOL.....anytime the kids can be in the KIDS CLUB!!!! Woo Hoo!!

Thanks for the support everyone ! My husband told me the same thing : that we won't be in the room much !!! :cheer2: I am feeling much better today ! (but I am never going back to that travel agency !)

We were watching the travel channel on Disney Cruise this morning, and one lady said that she did not see her kids during the daytime or after supper because they did not want to leave the kid's club ! My daughter then turned to me and told me that she would not see me very much either, because she will be at the kids club "a lot many times" !!! I guess that it will be a real vacation for everyone !!!:cool2:
