May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

Yes I am going to mail them, I am going to head over to the states and mail them next week, the Canadian ones will be mailed by Monday. I believe that you have already given me your address, correct me if I am wrong. If you haven't, please pm me.

Sorry, I have just been very overwhelmed this past couple of weeks, trying to get as much done on our reno. As of April 1st, I am putting the paint brush down and concentrating on our vacation!!

I was wondering how you were going to keep the cost down. Thanks for doing this.

LOL....in the end it will cost me a little(not worried about it all all) not too much though for my fellow Magical MAYniacs!!!:goodvibes It isn't the cost that is the reason as by the time I go over it won't be that much of a difference, BUT the time is! If I mail them from Canada it could take up to 2 weeks to get to you as they have to go through customs, which is totally ridiculous! Plus, if it happens for some odd reason to take longer, then that could run too close to the cut off time for people leaving. Anyway, no biggie, I just need to find time during the day to go over because I have to go during post office hours. I would say it will probably be Thursday afternoon. I only live about 15 minutes from the border so it is really close.

Laura-
Thank you so much for all your effort taking care of the bracelets! I can't wait to get mine, it will make it all the more real!
By the way, a word of advice to you: you might not want to mention your making a delivery for the "magical maniacs" at the border, we REALLY want to see you on the ship May 2!:rotfl2: (Yes, I know, don't quit my day job!!:lmao:)

I'm back home!

What a fun travel day yesterday. My plane in Huntsville was delayed 2 hours due to bad weather in Atlanta. Once we finally got on the plane, it rolled out to the runway where the pilot told us we would have to wait another 20 minutes. I had a connecting flight from Atlanta to Orlando and I knew it was going to be close. Long story short, I got off the plane in Atlanta and walked right on to the connecting flight. Whew. :scared: I arrived in Orlando but my luggage did not. I'm sitting here right now waiting for Delta to deliver my suitcase. :rolleyes1

Hi there, Ashlotte and I have been hard at work on the Fish Extender project (actually, much more credit goes to Ashlotte than me :worship:, since I've been busy with a lot of other projects at home :)).

We have a preliminary list for everyone to look over. If you see your name and see a question mark beside some of the information, could you please contact one of us and give us the updated info?

If you don't see your name on the list, there's still plenty of time to join us. This is just a preliminary list so that people can start thinking about the number of gifts they need to get. The more the merrier. You're only responsible for one night's worth of gifts, so it shouldn't take up too much room in your luggage.

Welcome home, Zerog!
Hope your suitcase gets there soon!:wizard:

All is well now. Delta delivered the suitcase around 11am this morning. The kids and DW were happy because they got their gifts.

* PIN TRADING - WARNING: THIS CAN BE HABIT FORMING * :upsidedow

What have I done!? Last cruise we bought our DS a lanyard with some 'starter' Disney pins. He also picked out a couple of nice pins from the store. And off he went to trade. Wouldn't you know, he traded some of the expensive pins for some cheap little pins from a CM. Having no value of money, we had to step in and put a ban on him from trading certain pins.

Now my DD has been introduced to pin trading. She really likes walking up to CM's at the parks to see if they are wearing any pins she likes. Funny, she will trade for a pin, and trade that pin for another, etc. and you don't know what she will end up with by the end of the day. LOL - maybe she gets bored with a pin after a few hours; or, she just enjoys trading.

Whoever came up with this pin trading concept discovered a gold mine. Anyhow, I just purchased 60 pins on Ebay for $1.62 each. They arrived today. The pins are common and simple, but I would rather the kids trade these than the ones that cost over $15. I plan to bring them on the cruise. I think DW and myself are actually going to participate. We are not in it to make money or to collect 'rare' pins, but it is fun. I would like to recommend this 'hobby' but be forewarned it IS habit forming.

Thanks so much to you and Ashlotte for putting this all together! I have one question, can we include food items (like little candies)? Do we need to find out if there are any allergies or kits not eating sugar? Or should we just keep it to non-food items?

Again, thanks for organizing!

hmmm....well, I hope we can include food, cause I have a couple of items in mind. I guess the biggie is to find out if anyone has any food allergies, like to nuts?

Good thought, Spencer!

We could make a group decision. However, it might be simpler to just have the list noted with anyone who has any allergies that might affect their FE gifts.

If anyone has a food allergy that people should be aware of, could you pm Ashlotte or me and let us know? We'll then add that information to the list so that everyone doing FEs knows. Since the FEs are given out by cabin, there's no problem if some people receive food to which other people are allergic. It's only important to make sure those specific cabins don't receive the food.

Sound good?
