May 18, 2013 Magic EBTA Part Two - From Tejas to España

Thanks Mandy. I have an REI dividend check too.

Yep! Applied my dividends so made it cheaper. I picked up a PacSafe from the outlet and a Eagle Creek packing cube from the main REI. Both were able to use the 20% coupon, and put it right at $51 so I got free shipping. :)

Not sure about walking distance. Spec's is the big chain down there. I believe we have a couple in the Houston area on this thread who might know. I'll also send a message to my college roommate -- her hubby works at Hobby so he might know. :thumbsup2

Coming on fast!

Trying to tie up the loose ends. Only thing left is getting from the hotel in London (Kensington Palace) to Heathrow airport. Any suggestions? All the luggage is what worries me.

It's not going to be easy, you look to be about 2 km from the tube which could then take you to Heathrow. I would bite the bullet and just take a black cab or private hire. Whilst it's not cheap it will be less stress. Sorry I can't help more.

It's very easy.
First on the plane they will play the last 30 min of the flight a video with explenation.

Direct after immigrations there are luggage belts and you pick up your luggage then go thru costums and right after cosums there are people standing to take your luggage put them on a luggage belt again and your luggage will be transported to your next plane.

You yourself go thru security again after this point.
It depends on how this works because ot's different from airport to airport.
Washington Dulles has a different line for the people with connecting flights because you are in a different area then the people checking in at Washington Dulles.
But the connecting lines are always crowded and takes a long time for connecting time you need to have at least 90 min.
If you take Chicago there you need to transfer from the international flights terminal to a dometic flights terminal and then you go thru security in the normal lines...

If there are any other questions please ask them.
I fly to and from the US twice a year and thru different airports...
We are flying into JFK and have 4.5 hours for a layover. :goodvibes

Thank you for the rundown!

Okay FE gifts done and all labeled, it is amazing how long it took and so glad one thing is done. Well almost still waiting on a few gty rooms.

Thanks! You confirmed what we were thinking!

I just noticed on the May 10 rollcall they have started receiving cruise docs and luggage tags! Woohoo... We are next!! Or at least it would seem that way... I am certain someone will correct me if I am wrong.
