Crystal -- have you down for the beer. I am not a total blond, just some intense blond highlights that freaked me out BUT, given I am a natural dark dark brunette -- it is a drastic change! I'll let you know if I have more fun -- I think I will but maybe it is like you said, just because of my amazing peeps! Good luck tanning!

Hmmmm, thanks for the info Dave. Does anyone know how much a Cat 4 is really worth over a Cat 6? We are going to inquire about upgrades but I am not sure how "much" is worth it for a Cat 4. We have our limits for a Cat 3 but not for Cat 4....

Looking at the Military discount rates for our cruise I think this would be the minimum you would pay to jump categories (if available):

CAT 11 to CAT 10 $200
CAT 10 to CAT 9 $100
CAT 9 to CAT 8 $200
CAT 8 to CAT 7 $200
CAT 7 to CAT 6 $200
CAT 6 to CAT 5 $200
CAT 5 to CAT 4 $200

For example my parents went from a CAT 6 room to a CAT 4 room a couple weeks ago for $400 total (2 category jump with 4 people in the room). I have never upgraded at the port so this is a complete WAG. Also I am not sure why 10-9 is only a $100 jump but that is what the website is showing.

I just finished reading Book 2 (less than 24 hours). I"m afraid I'll need to pack all 9 books in order to have enough to read!

MAWWWWW-Dee- I'm sure your hair looks great, if Blondes have more fun, then you sure are going to have a BLAST now.

I'm in the middle of trying to fix my hair color as well. I was trying to grow out my hair to my natural color, but couldn't handle the difference in my roots to the rest of my hair. So last night we tried to color it a lighter shade of brown...only colored my roots! ARGH! Now we are trying color try #2....

V -- what trolley tour are you talking about? Should we do that? Right now we are doing nada except bumming around a bit.

Bob, the tastings are one the ship by DCL. They are held on sea days and not always offered on both days. There is a beer, wine, tequila and martini tasting. I think they run @$15 pp but could be wrong. From previous posts it looks like you definitely get your $$ worth.

We are organizing groups who want to attend the tastings together. No obligation but just a heads up on who to look out for. Lynsey will post it on our personal navigators. I don't think I can sign everyone up without paying for everyone and since I think some folks may back out, don't want to do that.

I will, however try to expand my tea reservations to add more if that helps. I know Kathy is trying to join us for the tea but doesn't have a reservation. Anyone else? Does anyone know if they will let me "grow" my reservation on the ship when we embark?

Ok back to work. Got a lot done (amazing what you can do when you focus and don't read DIS or FB!) but need to get back to it!

Wow I NEVER thought this would happen so soon. I've been an emotional basketcase for the past few weeks. With the cat attack I haven't been normal since then.
Well after receiving a stupid thing in the mail today, I broke down crying (which I NEVER do).
I ran into the bathroom and took a test! It was positive!!
I am trying to set up an emergency appointment with my Woman Dr ASAP before we leave. I'm paniced cause: A- never been preggo, B- going on vacation C- no clue what to do with being preggo!

Ok so first favor...since I JUST took the test, I don't know how far along I am or whatever.. DO NOT MENTION THIS ON FACEBOOK/MYSPACE NO WHERE, Please...yes I'm superstitious about the 3 month thingy, but with the cruise you guys can know.

Well as we all know Mothers Day is on Sunday. HELP!!! I need help trying to figure out how to tell the parents!! My in laws have 2 grandkids already and that sister told them about the 1st grandkid with binkies & bibs wrapped up. 2nd grandkid was a picture of the 1st grandkid and it said "I'm going to be a big brother". So those ideas are OUT.
This is what we are thinking....if you ever heard of them...a Willow Tree Figurine thats for 'Grandma'. Wrapping that and having them open that. My mom will FLIP OUT, it'll be her first grandbaby and she wants one SO bad!!!

Any other ideas?? OMG!! This is nuts!!!

Don't you worry sweetheart, there are plenty of us who have been there done that in fact, you have one Mom expecting on the cruise (Alison) and another who cruised at 6 weeks pregnant (Me). You will be just fine -- don't freak out, ENJOY!!!!!!!

Wow! Congratulations! What timing! I guess there should be one more celebration on the list now.

It's good that you're going to try to see a doc right away since there will be certain advise and maybe supplements they'll want you to have and you can ask all the questions you probably have (make a list) and relax a little, but I don't think you have to worry too much right now because the early part is mainly about living your life, staying away from a few obviously dangerous things and taking better care of yourself for the little one. I doubt your doc would even blink an eye about you going on a cruise, and they could tell you anything you need to avoid.

I wanted to say congrats, but I'll leave it to the other girls here who seem like this is more there thing.

Yes the hubby knows, He was shocked. Called me 'Fertile Murtle'. hahaha We are excited!!!!!
I had to tell my sister right away cause I need her help on Mothers Day. It's nice that even though she's older (27) there is NO competition about babies. She doesn't want to get preggo for a few more years, more when she's 30. So it's nice to know that she's 100% happy for me and excited and willing to help.

Well Allison, I DID give YOU a pregnancy scare. LOL!
