I finally finished my FE.

Your FE is beautiful. I can't wait to see them all in person.

Speaking of FEs.......I was looking over my FE list and there is still one family that we do not have a room number listed for.....Does anyone know the room number for pwoodson? Are they still participating in the exchange?

I haven't heard a thing. Maybe they are just really and haven't had the opportunity to check in. I'm still bring a gift just in case!

I've looked at a bunch of sample menus. It's all "weird" food to me.

I'm usually not an adventurous eater, but I'm really excited to try some of the "weird" stuff becuase I would never order them on my own having to pay just to try. I figure if I get something that's just awful I'll order something different. And as a last resort I'll stock up on the buffet, room service, and the "fast food" style sports. (I doubt I'll have any prboblem stuffing myself until I'm miserable!)

I'm trying to finalize out my packing list and what I'm carrying on. Are you all carrying on or checking your fish extenders and magnets? I'm carrying on my FE gifts but that takes up one whole carry on bag so I'm doing my best to whittle down our carry-on items. I also know we've had alot of talk about carrying on alcohol. My little bottles of rum/vodka will be fine, but I'd like to bring on some beer for my husband to have one at the pool each day? For those that are bringing beer are you just carring the case to the port or are you putting the bottles in a separate soft cooler!

I don't remember seeing the Sookie Books when I looked in Costco. The probably now have jus the latest one, since it's a new release. most book stores carry them. Amazon has nice prices, but at this point it would mean accelerated shipping. I ended up even upgrading the stuff I bought several days ago because it was getting too close for comfort.

Thanks Robin -- so maybe I will have to wait until after the cruise to start them. It might be better anyways otherwise you will find me with my nose in a book all the time.

Passport is in the mail according the the State website. Now I just have to get it in time before I leave on Sunday.

Kim -- now I am scared with you. Please keep us posted!!!! -- oh, and they sell beer and wine at the CVS in Texas so I would guess they sell them in Florida too.

Jamie -- I am so excited you got upgraded! That is wonderful!!!!

Kim -- your FE looks fabulous!!!!

Bill -- REAS = Romantic Escape at Sea. It is an extra package you can buy from DCL that includes robes, champagne, bucket and chocolate in the room when you arrive, Palo dinner & $50 bottle of wine, weeklong rainforest passes for you and your spouse, Full Menu In-Room Breakfast w/champagne, Romantic turndown AND....you get to book reservations at 150 days out which is a big reason why we bought it.

Robin -- I think you'll be ok on food. They have "normal" options with the dinner menu (grilled chicken, some kind of steak) plus the kids options (burgers, noodles, etc). I am not so worried about the kids -- I figured if they don't eat at dinner, they can eat later and who can resist pizza, chicken tenders, etc. I've heard the steak sandwich from room service is great!

Mati - I don't see why someone (like me, for example) doesn't just lend you at least the first book. It wouldn't help prior to the cruise, but at least you'd have it during.

I'm sure I'll be ok for food. Our last cruise I only went into the DR once and spent the rest of the time eating by the pools (surprisingly good food) and also the buffet room, which was just as fancy as the main DRs and the food was soooo good and such a selection. That cruise seemed to really have an emphasis on Italian Food though, so that helped. I do really want to do the dining room experience this time, so I intend to. I also want my husband to be able to try that food and eat the fish. I ate many things growing up that I didn't like and I'm far from adventurous these days, but as you mentioned, I am also a bit more willing to try it when I'm not paying in the traditional sense and if I don't like it I have an alternative. It also helps when I am not counting every calorie and when I'm away. It will help if they do let me order off the kids menu. The Vegetarian options also show some promise.

My food tastes will help balance out anyone who wants to lobster tails.

I just realized that borrowing the book makes sense anyway, because if you like it, the best way to buy the others is the box set of 1-7. That way you don't end up with 2 ones. I just checked and Walmart (not a walmart fan but I'll shop there) has the set for 32.91 with shipping. Amazon is 31.88 with free shipping, but that shipping option can be very slow! Book 8 just came out on paperback and 9 just came out for the first time.

Belinda - I'm SO happy Shawn was able to convince the airline to get you in on the earlier flight and you'll be able to meet us. I think it was you that mentioned Test Track - I just realized I've never done it at night either - maybe we should go as a group - remember they do take pictures of each car - it could be our first DIS group photo.

Jane- Im so happy too!! We are really excited about the Pre- Disney meet!! I think thats a GREAT idea, we need to go in groups and take photos!! That will be something to remember I think the cars hold 6 so we can do two cars back to back or something!! I've always wanted to ride it at night but always got sidetracked!!
I think that will be GOODTIME memory!!!

I just got a call from DCL -- soooo exciting! They were confirming our REAS package and all of the details. The good thing is she told me if they change our itinerary before we go, I can call her to change our Palo res and she gave me a direct number to them. I am worried our Palo night will interfere with pirate night. Anyways -- if anyone else booked this package, that is something that might help!!!!

Mati- Thats' awesome!! I know that got you in super excitement mode now!!! You'll have to fill me in after the cruise and let me know how well all the goodies went!! I love the thought of the full menu in your room, and breakfast!! YUMMMYY!! You'll have to take some pictures of your sexy DCL robes!!!

Lynsey - Hey you!! Shawn and I are putting our FE and our magnets in our carry on bag. After we get on board and eat, I plan on decorating my door before the mandatory drill!! That way if our luggage isn't at our room till 6 or so, our door will already be decorated

Tequila & Margarita - Monday 2 - 2:30, Thursday 2 - 2:45 @ Diversions

Ok, sounds like a plan. If it was me I'd probably be trying to find it myself, too. I love to have books. If you can't find it, or you end up ordering a set and it won't get to you in time just let me know and I'll pack my copy.

I wonder how much actual reading I'll be able to do on the ship. I'm not god at reading with stuff going on around me. I made a point of ordering books so I can hopefully fall asleep at night. They're supposed to be here on the 11th. I actually did the paid shipping option with Amazon to assure that.

Soooo, while I was making dinner tonight I tripped over a box and landed on my knee. Incidentally, this is the knee I had my ACL repaired about 5 months ago. I'm really hoping it's just brused and will be sore for a few days but will be ok by the cruise.

I caught myself with my hand before I landed on my stomach so I don't think I need to call my OBGYN but what do you think? Currently I'm sitting on the couch reading the DIS board with ice on my knee.

oh my goodness! take care of yourself! hoping the knee heals quickly!
I fell flat on my stomach once when I was pregnant and my OBGYN assured me that the baby is very well protected inside there - but you might want to call just to give yourself peace of mind.

Me too ! Driving home tonight I got butterflies thinking that next week at that time we would be getting ready to head to the La Quinta Inn at the Indy airport !!! We DEFINITELY need a group photo to commemorate the start of a great trip with some great DIS friends ! I'll have a Home Depot lime green Mickey head on my small red backpack. I'm still trying to decide what to wear. The latest forecast has a high of 87º in Orlando next Friday. You won't be able to miss me.....I'll be the one with the HUGE smile on my face, since I'll be in my FAVORITE place in the world !! ~ Kathy

Mati - I'll be doing the Tea on Tuesday with you (thanks for sharing your res) The only tasting that I might do is the Margarita on Thursday. Jim will be doing Martinis on Monday & Tequila & Margaritas on Thursday. Im sure you look fantastic (just not what you are used to) happens all the time to me when I get my hair cut.

Epcot Group - I'm already in a Photopass share so we just need to see if we can find a Photographer and they can try for a group shot and then when I get the CD I can send everyone copies.

My FE and gifts have already arrived in WDW. We'll be putting them into our checking our bags when we get to the dock.

We leave the house on Satuday at 4:00am and I'm trying to get everything done tonight. I've tried all day to check-in online for our WDW reservation, but no luck. I'm going to call tomorrow to see what I might be doing wrong. I'm trying to download an audio book from a CD onto my iPod so I have something to listen to while keeping my eyes closed. Luckily my tooth seems to be fine since the dentist visit. It is REALLY getting hard to concentrate at work and I imagine tomorrow will be murder.

Got to log off so the computer can sync up without booting me off. Hope everyone has a fantastic night!!!

I would say Monday for the tequila/margarita tasting for both Brian & myself. Martini tasting for Brian on Monday (woo, he is going to be ONE happy cruiser !!). I REALLY want to do the tea on Monday with you guys at 3:00, so I'll try and get a reservation once we are on board. If I can't get one I may do the martini tasting with Brian.
