I'm sure Kathy (and Uncle Sam) has other ideas about it, though! 
He says how excited he is to meet his "penpal" on the Disney cruise...even though he never took the time to write back to Sabrina!! Strange little dude, I know. He has had some interest in maybe writing back to her, so maybe he can before we leave. We'll see if he loses interest early on again. 
We thought he might do better this first time if the boys are there with him. 
Everafter1 -- thanks for the update on the weather in Orlando. It is that hot here in Austin now too -- unusually warm. Is it like the summer where we can expect a rain storm or 2 during the day? Not sure if I should pack rain panchos?
No Problem! The weather feels like August, but we haven't had any rain (knock on wood!) There are isolated showers in the forecast next week, but that can always change. May isn't usually when we get daily rain, but keep an eye on weather.com, just in case. The temps are in the mid 90's right now, but next week they are supposed to be "cooler" in the high 80's. We went to AK on Thursday and had to take a break mid-day because it was so hot. It looks like it should be a nice week as long as the rain stays away.
This time next week we'll be on the ship!

Ok, so, went to go see Star Trek with Yoni & my Dad last night (yes, that is the kind of geek that I am) and it seems like I missed a LOT! The movie was fantastic by the way.
Kathy, Carole -- I don't know if I can add you guys to my reservation. I think that would be the right way to go but not sure how that works. When I get there I am going straight to Rockin' Bar D(I think that is right) and will see if I can up my tea reservation to 4 to add you 2. Anyone else want to join in? If you aren't getting on board around the same time (we plan to be at the port @10:15) then go make a reservation and if I have too many, will cancel a few by then. We will be up in the Mickey pool after we get on the ship.
I'll mail you the copy of the reservations later today so if anyone else has a preference for time.
. He promised that he would go see it with me too (good son brownie points ).! We won't be getting to the port until ~ 12:30 or 1:00 due to DCL transportation. Would it be possible for you to text me (PM me if you don't have my cell number) once you make your attempt at adding me so I know if I should high-tail it to Rockin' Bar D and try on my own once we are on board? I'm finally all packed - whew! I sure hope Jim can lift the bag into the overhead compartment.
Thanks for all the well wishes for safe travels. Normally I'm not a nervous nellie, but since we are leaving the boys home alone for the first time I'm getting more and more anxious about what could go wrong.
We are taking the laptop with us and since our favorite evening entertainment is gone (and we get free internet access) we'll try checking in every day or so. I can't miss all the last minute info - just think of all the stuff that just happened today:
Kim - I'm so glad your passport arrived in time!
JorDan - Congratulations to you and Chad - I love how you are going to tell your mother. Just try and get a video of it to remember exactly how she reacts.
V & Laura - we are going to do the trolley bus as well. We figured it was the best way to get to see the area. I still have to purchase the tickets (guess I better do that tonight).
I'm sure there were other things I wanted to respond to, but I need to go jump in the shower (not getting up at 3:00am to do it in the morning). The next time you hear from me I'll be in Florida!!!!

Ok everyone this could be my last post until the cruise. I am almost all packed, have all my travel documents printed out and are so ready to go. The internet at my house has been a bit screwy so I wanted to get this in before I left.
I hope everyone has a great week getting ready and you all make it down to FL and the port safe and sound.
