Finally got those cabin assignments....and I am happy to say we will NOT be sleeping in the life boats
Sara and Michael are in 6100 and our daughters Rebecca and Bailey are in 2084....Youngest daughter graduates this weekend from college and then we are heading to So CA for the week before the cruise.....I am SO excited.

Got cruise documents and the itn shows we get back on the ship in Vancouver. There were previous rumors this may be the case but I did not want to believe it since this cruise was marketed as the ship being a floating hotel in Vancouver. I don't know any hotel with a 4 PM curfew. Still hoping it's a misprint. Guess we wont know for sure until we reach Vancouver but the port is reserved on the schedule for both days so they could park it overnight if they wanted to.

Unfortunatey we have been advised it's not a misprint. I have complained to DCL that their website should reflect it correctly as people are planning evening activities. They state that we are sailing away and returning the next morning. We had to do this is Cabo earlier this year as well.

I have updated the cabin numbers on the first post. We still have a coule of GTY so I hope you get out of the life boats soon!

Busy weekend - had our annual Camporee with my Girl Scout troop. Came home for an appt. to have my final foster puppy adopted! Just in time for vacation and then woke up with the flu. Hopefuly it goes away quickly - I don't have time for this!

We got sick and over it already. We were happy to get it in advance of the cruise. Walking pins and needles to avoid getting sick right before boarding the cruise.

That's my biggest fear. Except for a slight cold not long ago we've all been relatively healthy. Our youngest went on a band field trip weekend before last and half the class has come down with the flu. I'm keeping fingers, toes and anything else crossed that she doesn't come down with it and pass it on to the rest of it.

I am totally bummed about the Vancouver thing....we had planned to drive up to Whistler but I am not sure it would be worth the trip....guess I better come up with Plan B pretty fast!

Hi Janice, Just PM me your e-mail and I will forward the spreadsheet to you too.

I have sent the revised roster/FE list to those who already PM'd me for it. Looks like only one of our group is still in the life boats, but all the FE rooms are now listed. I will post a copy of the roster spread sheet outside my cabin door (6516 6 fwd) in case there are any last minute changes or updates. Since I do not leave the house for the port until 9am on that Monday, hopefully we will have a very clean roster. (I do expect to be packing through out the night prior though so the boys won't know until the shuttle comes )

Safe travels to everyone already on their way here to Los Angeles.

Well if you figure it out...let me know. I booked Alcatraz and Muir Woods but could not figure out a way to work in the city tour as well. They have an evening tour that I thought would work and it sounded great....but it only runs Thur - Sun evenings....and we will be there Wed. So many sites, so little time!

I think we figured out how to fit all this in! I sent you a PM about this the other day and was wondering if you got it?

This should be it until cruise day and if you do make a last minute upgrade or change, please update the roster posted on my cabin door (6516, the one that you can hardly tell it is a door for all the magents.)

There are worries about this but DCL believe that somehow changing cabins make this ok - I don't know the full details but if Disney lawyers are happy it should be ok - I imagine if there is a fine it will be Disney who will pick it up.

I posted the order of the nights earlier in the thread but you must realize I was just taking what had been done on the MR and othr seven day cruises in the past. Since the Pacific Coast repo is a twice a year sort of thing I am having a strong feeling that they could change it up for this cruise. After reading they may do away with Pirate Night for the Alaskan cruises anything might happen at this point. I have tried to get info from Disney about what the plan is for this cruise and they have been amazingly unhelpful. IMO the guest services people are useless for anything other than booking a new cruise. Really too bad.
