Thanks for the info Jill! I'm not even taking our door magnets this time around. That's just extra weight I don't want to waste on decor. Our FE and gifts are making it to the suitcase but no other door decor. We really decorated last time with magnets but believe it or not they are heavier than you think.

Just wanted to say hello. My sister in law, who is a TA, and I are doing this cruise because the price was so good. Are we getting together to meet ane greet any time? I am from PA and she is from CA.

Great idea Amanda ! I am going shopping tomorrow, I will try to find a couple of Montreal Canadians t-shirts for us to wear Just let us know what days you want us to wear it ! Also for t-shirts, I don't think that we can get the guys to wear pink (as in Champagne girls !) but other colors would be fun ! I was planning to bring mostly t-shirts to wear during the day anyway...

Awesome idea...especially since it's the best team! I already got Canadiens shirts for the kids and both my husband and I have Habs bathing suits (however I REFUSE to wear them at the same time...way to tacky! ) My husband has Habs flip flops, hat...we are covered!

Both my DH and Mother have their birthday on May 16th! Do you know if we can mention this before the cruise? Do they do anything special for b-days?

Wow! I've never met anyone in person with my bday before and now I'll be cruising with two

I don't know if it helps to mention it before you board. DCL does already have all of our birthdates in the system. I would mention it the night before, to your servers, so they have a heads up for the next night. The night of, remind them, and they will bring out cake and perhaps a song for the birthday boy and girl. We are lucky to have our birthdays early on in the cruise. Last year on the Med., my bday was the day after we got off the ship, so we celebrated the last night and they were out of cakes....they put a happy birthday white chocolate on the dessert I had ordered. I'm looking forward to cake this year My DH doesn't have his bday until towards the end of the cruise, so they may be out of cakes by then for his...his sweet tooth isn't as big as mine, though, so he will live

Yes call and mention your birthday, or anniversaries or any other celebrations, they will ask you which night you want the cake served. (or have your Travel agent do it you booked through them)

What a great way to celebrate! Perhaps choose the night before the last night (less hectic that night) to celebrate your birthday. Let your servers know of your plans early on in the cruise. Perhaps tell them your very favorite dessert that DCL makes....that way if they run out of cakes, they may be able to have had your dessert made up for you ahead of time. I've read of some people who LOVE the peanutbutter pie (no longer on menu) and it is produced as a surprise for their entire table sometime during their cruise because they asked about it. It depends on what the chef is able to make happen for you and how proactive your servers are....plus some luck!

My wife has a birthday the Tuesday after we get off. We're going to celebrate it anyway. The servers don't care if you're a few days early. We'll let them know early in the cruise and pack a night so they can make a small cake for her.
