Thanks so much! very helpful!
I know there are alot of 2nd and 3rd time cruisers on here so I hope someone can help...
This will be our first time on a DCL cruise, although I have been on other cruise lines, I just have a few questions...
1. Will it be ok if my 3 year old son wears dress shorts, nice sandals and a polo type shirt for dinner?
2.Are there "photo packages" that you can purchase from the photos that the ships photographers take?
3. On the Castaway Cay day, if we want to go back on the ship after 3 or 4 hours on the beach, can you do that, or are there set times?
4.Is there a "formal" night? Will it be ok for that night if my son( 3 1/2) just wears dres pants, and a shirt and tie? Or is a jacket required for even children?
THANKS SO MUCH!
It really is a lot of fun. The last cruise my daughter was on she was 2 and loved coming back to the room and seeing the FE full of gifts. My older boys loved it too. They would go through their loot before bed and it definitely added something different to the cruise. Also I would go fill the FE's with the stuff I brought at night after the kids were asleep or early in the morning and it gave me time to wander around and explore the ship going to the different decks everyone will be on. Gosh I can't wait....I don't want to wish away the next 10 months but I do wish they go quickly : )
Here are some pics of our FE from our last cruise. Will be recycling it and using again this time around on the dream...

Hi! I'll be joining you for this cruise. I've only been on one so far (3-night Wonder to the Bahamas), but number two, three, four and five are booked! Guess you could say I enjoyed that first cruise....I'm doing the Westbound Transatlantic in September, this one is a B2B (with 5/10 cruise) and I'll be on the Fantasy in October.

In all likely hood. I'm staying on ship at Nassau. Might do some spa type thing and just lay by the pool.
I'm only thinking of doing some snorkling at CC. Doubt I can get DD to do it. DS might but he's not a great swimmer. Anyone know if you have to be? I'll probably get him lessons anyway this fall.
Count me in on the fun! I will be going on my first DCL cruise (have been on several other cruise lines) as a graduation/birthday gift. I graduate from college on May 4 and then cruising 9 days later! So excited! It started off being just my family and one other family going, but it has kind of snowballed and right now we have 10 cabins booked (and, knowing the group I'm going with, I would not be surprised if that number doubled by time we got on board, LOL!)
