May 13, 2012 4 Night Bahamian Cruise

I am PrLissitte's sister. She got me hooked on this site. This will be our 1st time on a Disney cruise and we are super excited to be going on the Dream:yay: FIRST FAMILY CRUISE!!!!

I have a DD 5 (TIME OF THE CRUISE) and DS 2

My daughter is already talking about the princess dresses she will be bringing;)

I don't recall that they did anything beyond having a couple of big cakes with nice Mother's day decorations on display in the main foyer, but I was so excited about actually being on the ship, I could have missed something.

Ok I have started my workout routine Zumba and Tonning 5 times a week and lost 5 pounds in one week. Now Im one step closer to been in a bikini by this cruise yea!!!!:cheer2:

HI! Joining your crew! ;)
This is our first cruise, ever! And I'm already planning on booking the Fantasy during this cruise!
It'll be me, DH, DD will be 12 and DS 10. I expect to only see the kids at dinner as DS is looking forward to Aquaduck and they both can't wait to hang in Edge. I plan on eating, drinking and soaking up some sun! :goodvibes
Less than a year to go! :cheer2:

Hi!!

Welcome Aboard.:cool1: You are going to love it and be hooked. This will be my 2nd DCL Cruise, actually my second cruise ever really and I am SUPER excited. :woohoo: You should consider joining the Fish Extender list we have going it really adds a little extra for the kids during the trip. I will have two kids in the Edge as well DS 12 and DS 10 (going to keep my fingers crossed he can age up because he wants to be with his brother, I've seen a lot of posts saying that it is usually allowed at 10.) and a DD 4 in the Club/Lab. Well happy planning!! pirate:

Thanks!
I don't think Edge will be a problem.:thumbsup2
I'm kinda on the fence about doing FE. #1 I've been intimidated by the crafty things I've seen others make and I stink at that.. #2 We're staying in concierge and I'm afraid it will be a pain for people trying to leave things. I don't want it to be an inconvenience to leave us a gift!

#1 its dosen't have to be hand-made it can be something that represent your town or your family or it can be something usefull for the trip =) the point its to have fun with it!! Some people give candies for the movie night other do magnets for the cabin door hope this helps =)

#2 on our last cruise we had 3 groups in the concierge level we just went to the spa and they called the Concierge level to let us in its super easy they are soo use to it :)

Hope you and your family can going us in the FE fun!!!

My DD (5) and I were also on the may 1st cruise. We went with my awesome MIL. We had so much fun that I convinced my DH to go next year. We will also be joined by my niece, who will be 14 when we go!

We can't wait!!!

We decided to move our cruise to November 2012 (and RCCL), but we hope you all have a wonderful time next May!!! Say Hi to Mickey for us. Hoping to be back on board one of the Wonderful Disney ships in 2013!

To be honest I saw no fish extenders or anyone trying to deliver them to concierge on the Mother's Day cruise. I don't think anything would stick to the doors.

Don't they hang off the fish off to the side of the door? :confused3

They are supposed to, I guess. The starfish with the room number was only used to hold notes from Disney to remind you of reservations, etc. I saw nothing hanging from any of them on deck 12. The doors themselves are not white metal like the rest of the ship. They are covered in a faux wood finish or covering, as are the walls.

They do have either a starfish, fish or sea horse On the may 1-5 cruise(dream) that I was on the everyone room we went to had there Fish Extentder up and out even in the gated rooms :) we had 22 rooms in our cruise it was lots and lots of fun and even got to meet 2 family. The Fe is to have fun with it it just adds to your Trip =)
