May 13, 2007 EARLY Roll Call 5/13/2007 4-Night Wonder

Hey I just noticed something. I remember that a few post back someone said we are going to hit 400 post now look we are over 500.

Well we decided this morning that we will flip from Raidisson to the Country Inn and Suites. Anyone want to join us??
I checked out the hotels to bid on via Priceline and I am a bit worried about getting the Holiday Inn and the winning hotel. The other two options were better, Doubletree and Hilton but we did not have a great experience with the Hilton down there on our first cruise.

Well Scottie it looks like your trip is falling into place. That is great. I think I would have swicthed to for 50.00 that is alot of tasty drinks on the ship.

More drinks, cover the parking charge... you name it we will find a way to use it!

Well that sounds great. Ok anything that means Disney is coming sooner than later sounds wonderful.

I got home from work today and there was an enveolpe from ups, i was all excited thinking it was for the disney cruise but no it was just my luggage tags for the magical express. thats good to,but i couldn't help hoping.
anyways we are now down till 19 days till the start of our vacation.

That is great. I am hoping that mine comes soon too. I would love Disney mail. I might call to get a tracking number on Friday just in case it was shipped.

woo hoo!! The excitment is really building. My husband gave me the go ahead for booking a day room at the Hiatt near the airport for after the cruise. Thanks for that idea!
I think he is getting really excited about the trip now too.
I need to create a new to do list now that we are sooo close!
I bought a bunch of little things for my girls from Target dollar spot for the airplane ride. Whatever I can do for a smooth flight.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for a care free flight. Traveling with a just shy of 2 yr old should be an adventure! Done it before when the girls were that small but Dylan is much more active then they were!

Skyw (and anyone else who may qualify) Dreams Unlimited posted Military and Florida resident rates for our 5/13 sailing!!! I called DCL while I await an email response from our travel agent, Dreams, to confirm if we could get a good rate for the room my MIL is staying in but they claimed the rates havent been announced yet?? They said will be the end of the week or the start of next week. I would suggest starting to inquire to see if you can land a decent savings via the Military program!

I was thinking about doing this as well. Could you tell me how much is a day room. When I passed that on I heard about but never priced it out. We were talking about trying to get on a earlier flight that day but it might be better just to do that.

Update- I got someone with more knowledge when I called DCL back and it looks like we wont be saving anything this time. They only have discounted Cat 10 and 11 rooms for FL residents right now.

I checked Vacationstogo.com and it is a Cat 11 discount too. No use for us. I checked my reservation because I thought maybe they upgrade the lower rooms to better rooms and then resell them at the discounted price. NO luck. NO upgrade either!! Bummer.
maybe someone else got it.

Well I just checked and no upgrade here yet. I don't think it is going to happen because our documents are done.

In the end, we will both still enjoy our vacation with out without a discount! However, we wont have the nice savings to spend on some tasty adult beverages

So a few less tasty drinks but a whole lot of fun.

I woke up and looked we only have 21 days. What a feeling. It will be even better on Friday when we are less than 20 days away.

I hope we receive our tickets in time! We life in the Netherlands and we travel 1 week before our cruise to the states. Disney sends out 14 days in advance. When you all have them we only can
hope we receive them intime Please people let know when you received them!

still 17 nights to go before we fly to the states and than 8 before our first disney cruise.
