May 13, 2007 EARLY Roll Call… 5/13/2007 4-Night Wonder

Does anyone know how many posts you need before you can post attachments? I am super excited about my countdown calendar and wanted to share it but I am not able to.

Not sure on the number of posts till you are allowed to add goodies, sorry.

My DW did most of her shopping thus far at Kohls, she didnt have much luck at Macys.

As for dress, I dont think we ever went overboard. There is one night that is considered more fancy then others. On that night my DW and MIL wore nicer (but not too nice) dresses and I went with kaki pants, long sleeve dress shirt and a tie, no sports coat. the rest of the nights I work docker pants and short sleeve polos. DW and MIL tended to wear casual dresses.

Length of time for dinner. Cant even recall since we didnt pay attention to time when dinning, just enjoyed the meal, servers, and company. I would guess 1.5 hours???

Thanks Scottie! That helps greatly!!! I hope I can convince DH to wear a tie to Palo's at least!!

I know that will be the only point I will be looking at time. I would ahve preferred a later Palo reservation but it is all we could get.
Thanks,
Michelle

You could always consider allowing your kids to eat with the clubs for dinner if you find yourself being rushed after the first night. Not sure what the age rules are for kids to eat with the club. My girls love doing that and we pretty much lost them to dinner with the rest of the kids on past cruises.

Boy did I miss out. I was gone all afternoon and came home to lots of posts. I guess I had to do some reading.:surfweb: I am hopeing that our Doc.'s will be here when DCL said. On April 25th.:rolleyes1 I am going to call on monday They said we could get a tracking number then. I am so looking forward to having some Disney mail in my hand soon. And like I sadi it will be more real then. I also have to call the airline and confirm with them and the rental car. :thumbsup2 Things are starting to pick up and warm up. My kids are so ready and I could use a break from my sisters kids. I watch them everyday. Hugh...I found out today I have to watch them the day before we leave.:dance3: Maybe that will make the day fly by more. And My son has a T-ball game the night before we leave. I must say this day before is getting busy. I do not know if I will have time for much more. :confused3

I just looked and we only have 3 Cat. open for our cruise. Cat. 9,10,&12. Our ship must be almost full at this point. :scared1: Wow....I am shocked that those are it.

Scottie, that is where I went today. Plus Elder B's. I didn't have luck at Macy's either.

I know I am wondering just how dressy we need to be every night on the cruise. I mean how many dressier outfits do you think I need to bring?

I am bringing casual pants and a few casual summer dresses/skirts. I will wear high heels to dress up one of my dresses for the dressier night.

Skyw- maybe it is just time you hire a personal shopper to go out and do all the hunting for you! That way you will have more time to be at home chatting about cruising and they can be busy looking for the right items for you! ;)

We got most of our stuff at Kohls but we also have the prime outlets right by us which we did get somestuff from there. They have all the big brands alot cheeper. Tommy, Gap, Bass, Carters, Osh Bosh, Just to name a few. You can not forget Ann taylor. We also hit all the racks and the end of last summer for the kids. Their stuff does not change that much and even our stuff we picked up a few things. Good luck with that shopping. I hate having to buy for myself I have no problems with anyone else.

on the way out the door for work but doc's arrived i will look at them when i get home :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

That is great news. I wonder if I will get mine sooner than they said. I am hoping so. Disney mail is wonderful. :thumbsup2  You should do the happy dance.

A shopper would also give me more time for my other passion.....Flying.

Maybe should come up with a peapod for clothes. Wouldn't that be nice order it and get it the same day or like the shawns man brings the lastest style right to your door for you to try on.

With the nice weather FINALLY arriving in Ohio, I know the remaining days are just going to fly by! Disney here we come!!

Yes we are having great weather here too. It might hit 80.:cool1: I do not know what I will do maybe get a pre Disney sun tan started. I must say I hope it stays like this and does not throw us all a curve ball.

I would like someone to bring the clothes here. Then I can try them on at one place. Part of the drag is having to go from dressing room to dressing room.

Everyone have a nice weekend. I have drill (national guard) this weekend and wont be able to get on line until sun. I don't know what I am going to do!!!! I will go thru with-drawls.

I was just telling DW that I better hit the tanning beds at least a few times before vacation to pre-bake myself. On our first cruise, I did not have much of a tan when we started the vacation and burnt pretty bad the first day, even with some sun screen on. I ended up kind of not enjoying the couple of days after that incident due to the sun burn. A bit of pre-tanning it is for me this time!
:beach:

I will be busy all weekend too but I will find the time to get online. I can not miss it. It is a must. I would go nuts with out having the time to check. SKYW have a good safe weekend. This should hopefully be the last time before our trip.

I just looked we only have 2 more Sat.'s left and we are out of here. I that not the best feeling. I am so looking forward to these days going by and this next week we should have our Doc's. Which is a wonderful thing.

I do have one questions. We have never used an e-ticket before. I know how they work for the most part. What my question is American says we can check in online 24 hours before our flight. I know we can get online on the ship but is it a big deal if we just wait until we get to the airport. Our flight is not until 7 pm so we will have hours in the airport. So I was thinking I might be able just to check in at the airport. What do you guys think. We have not traveled since before 9/11 and do not know if it is going to be a big beal or not.
