Looks like they are messing with the MAY hours already at Disney! More 7:00 closings at MK. What's that about??? Some people think it is going to be more Pirates & Princess parties. . . There are hardly any nights they are going to have Spectromagic now. . .

Hi Shelly - I haven't got firm plans for May yet because I am waiting for some business deals to come together plus I would like to hook up a speaking engagement or two in FL. Maybe after the holidays we will know more what May will look like. People aren't thinking that far ahead right now.

I don't think I will ever try that black Friday shopping madness again. I will find a more quieter time to shop without the hustle - I need to preserve my health.

Hello MAYers…Thanksgiving was wonderful…lots of good food…lots of family…lots of fun…
BUT!...Oh! Yes!…there is a but!...late last week we received news
about our area that made us re-think about living here…lets me explain…we live by one of California’s freeway…and there will be some MAJOR work on said freeway that will impact our house and lives…so…we will be selling our house and moving on after the holidays…the market is (well…down) and we know it may take some time to sell…but…(OH, the buts) onward and upward…
We have lived in this house for 22 years Yikes! And we need to get a few things done on the house to get it on the market…and with this news…I will let you know we have canceled our trip for next May..Yes! We have!…we will be sad not to get to meet-up with the MAYers…but don’t despair…Disney is not all lost…we plan on a trip to Disneyland when we settle down again…So what a whirlwind Thanksgiving we have had…and we will keep you posted as too our progress in moving…

HELLO everyone... I had a GREAT turkey day.... Very hectic and full of food.. my cousin is finally back in NY which is great news to us. I NEVER go out on black friday too hectic. It's a crazy day so i just stay in. My new job is great so far. Our office is not set up yet so there is nothing for me too do which is good for me i'm getting paid as of the 19th and haven't really done anything.

Hey Mari! Glad the new job is going good so far. And easy so far!! So happy your cousin is home and safe. How are your MAY plans looking now?

Anyone else have a hunter in the family? DH is out now. It's about 40 degrees and raining, and we don't eat deer meat. I just don't get it! It's the sport, I guess. . . That's what he says anyway!

Hello all!!!

I am back. What a crazy bunch of days. I am soo tired. Thanksgiving was fun. I did go out on Black Friday. My sister and I were at Black Friday at 1am. Yes I did say 1am. I got Dh and my mom GPS's and then my mom met me at Toys R US at 5 and got online to get my stuff there, I gave her my cc and was off to get to Target by 6am. Which I did and got the girls some things there. From there I went to Old Navy and Sears and then the mall. The Disney Store had some great deals. Lastly I went Home Depot and got a new Christmas tree. I was home by 12. So I was so tired on Friday. I took a 2 hour nap and we started the tree. We have 2 trees in the house. Ours and the kids. I put all the decorations in the house and we finished it all by Sat. The house looks great.

So now I am making lists trying to get a box packed for Disney and shipped out by Wed. I also am hosting a cookie exchange on Sat for 25 people. So sometime this week I have to bake 150 cookies.

That was my weekend. I have so much to do I dont know where to start.

You are so sweet. To tell you the truth I have no idea. I was thinking of making fudge instead. But I think it is between snickerdoodles, rainbow cookies or spritz. Honestly whichever cookie recipes makes the most in a batch. LOL

Hi everyone!

My DSL at my home went out on Sunday, so Verizon is coming out today to fix it. I have been using dial up (bleh!) and my wife and boys have been "borrowing" wireless from our neighbors until we get our network back up again.

Huggie - I made chocolate dipped pretzels for Thanksgiving and they were really popular with everyone. Very easy to make too!

Jo - I will be sending some California heat your way. The Santa Ana winds are coming back tonight and it should be around 72 tomorrow.

Shelly - Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed!

Mari - Glad to hear your new job is going well and that your cousin is home and safe.

Ok I feel productive today. I ran a bunch of errands. Washed some more curtains and packed the box for Disney. I just have to get it over to the UPS store tomorrow. I want to give the box enough time to get to Disney.

Now I have to load up my Ipod with Christmas music for Sat.

Huggie - I bet you are so excited!!

I was at the school all day doing Santa's Workshop. And will be there all day tomorrow too! Does everyone else's school do this? It's a little shop set up for the kids to do some Christmas shopping. The kids are so cute trying to pick out just the right things for their families!
