Good afternoon bunch!!

I can't believe it's 2pm already....I am in the midst of changing over everyones clothing from winter to summer. I despise that job!!! Also getting all the recycling out of here, bags of old clothes to Goodwill, etc. A little bit of Spring cleaning I guess!

It is absolutely GORGEOUS here today! Finally!!

Yay..another day closer! Today we go pick up the DH's suit. We bought one so he'd have something nice to wear to V & A's for dinner. I'm also going to continue in my quest for a garment bag and *gasp* a bathing suit. While I am addicted to shoe shopping, bathing suit shopping is one particular brand of consumerism I could live without.

I'm back from brunch. It was nice. I also picked up some ribs and chicken. I am going to bbq them tonight. Since we had all this bbq talk I was craving it.

Good Afternoon Mayers!!!

Only 14 More Days!!!!!!!!!!



I spent the morning doing demolition on our 1/2 bath....Now I'm ready to paint and put it all back together but it probably won't happen til after I get back. I'm going to a party tonight with a bunch of friends from work and to Omaha to go furniture shopping and to the Disney Store tomorrow with my best friend. Sometime between all of this, I need to get more packing and such done ....Anyone else have fun plans for the rest of the weekend?

I guess we are going to get the suitcases out after we clean the house. 2 weeks 4 days! We've packed the carry-on for the most part...it's so hard fitting all the little things in there.

Hi all...it's so quiet on there today.....

So with this quiet day, and with Disney on my mind….I decided to share one of my favorite memories with my Mayer friends….in 1993 while staying at DL, and before there was a Downtown Disney... the Disney Hotel had a shopping area called the Plaza Building, it had shops, boutiques, etc… and while shopping in the variety store on this trip…. who do I see in the store…Annette Funicello!...I grew up watching the Mouseketeers…I WANTED to be a MOUSEKETEER…and here was Annette…WOW!...what to do…..do I go over and talk to her? or not interrupt her visit???... Yes! I go over and talk to her…and so happy I did…the nicest most gracious lady I have ever meet…I still think about this time and how wonderful it was to meet this person…remembering all those times I rushed home from school so I could see her and the Mouseketeers.
Yes! This does date me a little….
So do any Mayers have a fond memory of a visit to Disney?…come on share it…it’s a slow day!

We normally dont pack the clothing and such until the weekend of the week we are leaving. We do this because, our shirts get wrinkled and stuff. But we just lay out the clothing and such before we go!

I can't believe how fast it is apporaching!

I find its hard to stop thinking of WDW when your so close. Im way tooooo excited

Seacrest- do you ever eat at home? I am so jealous. I love eating out but with my little princesses, it gets hard.

It is about half and half because of our schedules and activities. I have a lot of business lunches during the week and of course Starbucks, my 2nd office. Yea, it can be tough with kids, but I think it is a good experience for them.
