I loooooooove good BBQ, and that place used to be fantastic. But ya know, places change. I always went to the one on Artesia (close to my old neighborhood -- I grew up in Bellflower/Lakewood, and worked at Cerritos Mall when I was in high school). But every time we go to DL, I'm tempted to check out the one on Euclid in Anaheim. Couple of my other favorites from when I was a kid seem to be long gone history -- Salvatore's, Midnight Sun Smorgasbord, and La Fiesta and Mexico City for Mexican food...yummy... Rosti's menu looks wonderful!

Our lasagne was good tonight, if a bit plain. I like to put veggies in it, mushrooms, zucchini, sometimes a little spinach -- but DS16 doesn't like that, so I keep it pretty pedestrian when he has dinner with us.

I will have to agree with you about BBQ .. it is my favorite meal too. Right now, the place I love to go to is Wood Ranch, at the Grove next Farmer's Market, 3rd & Fairfax. http://www.woodranch.com/index2.html
I get the tri-tip roast & chicken combo with the grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes. Their salads are so fresh because they get the veggies daily from the Farmer's Market next door. The garlic rolls are to die for too.

I know about picky eaters. My oldest eats the junkiest stuff and then complains how bad he feels later. I keep telling him, eat better food and you will feel better. Funny thing now is that his current girlfriend is a vegetarian and he won't eat any meat in front of her. The situation has all the makings for a TV comedy show.

Good Morning!!

It is supposed to be nice today. I have a suprise 30th bday brunch to go to this morning. I am bringing dd1 with me. One of her friends will be there so I figured they will have fun.


Jo- How was your night??? Did you dance the night away.


Seacrest- do you ever eat at home? I am so jealous. I love eating out but with my little princesses, it gets hard.

Shoes-I only wear flipflops to the parks. They are comfy to me. When it is hot out I cant stand when my feet get out.

Didn't check in yesterday, it was too nice here FINALLY!! And we have 2 more nice days before the rain returns.

JO- how was last night??? Oh - and I got the parking coupon in the mail yesterday. Thanks so much! Very cute little Minnie card!

I went to the Outlets yesterday and got 3 pairs of shorts for the trip! Old Navy and Gap had my size and styles I actually liked!!

Oh...my...gosh! I missed out on the 2007 Shoe Fest merrell, keens and tevas Oh MY! Loved all the pictures and information...so now I want new shoes...

And I have got to stop reading....I'm now very hungry for some BBQ and I haven't had breakfast....wonder if I can BBQ my oatmeal today
