Mornin' Mayers!
Sea, so glad your dog is ok I was listening to Mark and Brian on my radio alarm when I woke up, and they said the winds down there have just been horrible, spreading the fires. Man, it's been a rough fire season -- we had that horrible time up here when even Big Sur was on fire. Ok, I'm ready for winter...bring on the rain, please!
Mari, so...now the crisis is completely over for your DSS? With both girls?

And now is the time for your DH to sit that boy down and have a little talk with him about what can cause that kind of panic and how it better never happen in the future

I'm sure he already has Great idea about the gift cards for your family...
Shelly, really sorry to hear about DS dr. office trauma! Argh, I hated it when my guys were little and had to go through something like that...and you can't make it better, you just have to wait for it to be over

BUT... hooray for double digits!!! I haven't figured out how many days to my DL trip, I should sit down and do that. Planning a trip to DL is not nearly as hard or exhausting for me as WDW -- I know where everything is, and we just go with the flow when we are there. I asked Brrt what he wants to do, anything special? He said, "I want to get a frozen Coke, and I want to have time to look at the koi."

The DL Hotel has the most gorgeous waterfalls, and the pools have huge numbers of beautiful koi...and that's one of Brrt's favorite things. We are planning on meeting Sea and company on Saturday at DCA (whoo hoo, TSM!!!) and meeting my friend and fellow Disney geek from work on probably Sun or Mon. I want dinner with the princesses at DCA, and probably dinner at the Blue Bayou one night, and I want to see the lobby of the Grand Californian all decked out for Christmas -- my work friend says that sometimes they have carolers come in there and sing

And that's our whole "plan"
Jo, single digits! Mayer sa-LUTE!
We went out last night and did some shopping, two of my best friends at work have birthdays this month. I found gifts that seem to fit each of their personalities really well -- hope they like them
OK, I owe, I owe, so off to work I go...
