Good morning Mari and NC! :goodvibes

That's great news Mari. What a relief! Hopefully your DS has learned a valuable lesson by all this.

Luckily DS7 had a good vein and they got it on the first try. Not usually the case for me. They usually have to dig around and then I pass out. :sad2:

Jo is having a Single Digit Dance party today and I am having my Double Digit Dance party!! ~ 9 DAYS for JO!! ~ 99 DAYS for me!! ~

:dance3: :cool1:  :woohoo: party: :jumping1: :yay:

Okay, I am off to go Christmas shopping with my mom! :santa: Have a great day MAYers! :goodvibes :snooty:

Shelly - WOW talk about early shopping.... but you know what you gave me a good idea... start now.... but since most of my family is going with us to WDW in Jan i'll get everybody Dis giftcards to use while we are down there....

And BTW yes we were happy to hear the news of my DSS... And hopefully he did learn his lesson... I think he did... But we'll see when he gets his next girlfriend....

Mornin' Mayers!

Sea, so glad your dog is ok :dogdance: I was listening to Mark and Brian on my radio alarm when I woke up, and they said the winds down there have just been horrible, spreading the fires. Man, it's been a rough fire season -- we had that horrible time up here when even Big Sur was on fire. Ok, I'm ready for winter...bring on the rain, please! :umbrella:

Mari, so...now the crisis is completely over for your DSS? With both girls? :yay: And now is the time for your DH to sit that boy down and have a little talk with him about what can cause that kind of panic and how it better never happen in the future :lmao: I'm sure he already has :thumbsup2 Great idea about the gift cards for your family...

Shelly, really sorry to hear about DS dr. office trauma! Argh, I hated it when my guys were little and had to go through something like that...and you can't make it better, you just have to wait for it to be over :sad2: BUT... hooray for double digits!!! :dance3:I haven't figured out how many days to my DL trip, I should sit down and do that. Planning a trip to DL is not nearly as hard or exhausting for me as WDW -- I know where everything is, and we just go with the flow when we are there. I asked Brrt what he wants to do, anything special? He said, "I want to get a frozen Coke, and I want to have time to look at the koi." The DL Hotel has the most gorgeous waterfalls, and the pools have huge numbers of beautiful koi...and that's one of Brrt's favorite things. We are planning on meeting Sea and company on Saturday at DCA (whoo hoo, TSM!!!) and meeting my friend and fellow Disney geek from work on probably Sun or Mon. I want dinner with the princesses at DCA, and probably dinner at the Blue Bayou one night, and I want to see the lobby of the Grand Californian all decked out for Christmas -- my work friend says that sometimes they have carolers come in there and sing :goodvibes And that's our whole "plan" :rotfl2:

Jo, single digits! Mayer sa-LUTE!:banana::snooty::snooty::banana::banana:

We went out last night and did some shopping, two of my best friends at work have birthdays this month. I found gifts that seem to fit each of their personalities really well -- hope they like them :goodvibes

OK, I owe, I owe, so off to work I go... :rolleyes1

GGGOOOOOOOOOOOD MORRRNNINNNNN" MY MAYERS!

Oh good grief. where the $#@% is that packing cow???????????????
I need a hefty hefty dose of him- along with a VERY LARGE AMOUNT of pixie dust.:headache:

Plans have gone awry.:sad2:

Mark called his aunt last night to check her progress on obtaining the Gator game tix..... she has tons of connections- and.....:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: she has only been able to scrounge up two!!!!!!!! So- we are looking at shelling out as much money for that one game as we paid for Ph's for 9 days in the World. Mark is panicking.
I'm trying to remain calm- he was online until midnight last night trying every which way to get cheaper tix. I came to the conclusion this morning- that i would much rather us pay the astronomical amount and enjoy the game- rather than pay half of the amount- (which would still be a stupid price to pay for what you get.) and be miserable b/c we couldn't see anything.
Tix are very hard to come by. Even the students are in a lottery- which stinks.
Marks' sister is driving up- so we will be buying her a tix too- that will have to be her Christmas present.

So - needless to say- I am in a state. Not hard for me to get that way, I know.

NC- your doorway is beautiful! I love it! The race sounded like you had fun.

Mari- well thank the Lord your DSS got out of that mess. Here's hoping to better "sleeping arrangements" in the future.

Sea- oh wow. I was watching the weather channel this morning- it looks really bad in the valley. Stay safe... I'm glad you found your puppy.:snooty:

Shelly- wow oh wow. Your poor baby boy. Our children can just about rip our hearts out. I know the feeling. It's so not a good one. Hope everything will be resolved quickly, without any more yucky stuff.
Happy double digit dancing, my friend.

KB----Your DL plan sounds wonderful. I wish I had've been able to go this past year. I was looking forward to seeing it and going to Blue Bayou.:guilty: We shall live vicariously thru you, though.

Okay- I'm off. Must get a hair appt- (wish me luck and that no more hair falls out- :rotfl: ) and I must buy new Crocs... and other goodies.

LET THE INSANITY COMMENCE--- JO'S IN THE SINGLE DIG-ITS!

HAHAHAHAHHAHA-

If I were you, I would pay whatever amount to see my favorite team at a home game. :lovestruc That is if it doesn't break the bank. :goodvibes Keep us posted on the tickets. Here's a banana to help with the task of getting more tickets.

My ds is home sick today. :sad2:

Yuck!

I think I am going to require everyone to bath in Lysol. :sad2:

Hi Everyone!

The winds have died down quite considerably overnight. A friend of ours was evacuated from her home in Porter Ranch. Her church, Shepherd of the Hills is a Red Cross evacuation center. She said it was weird sleeping at her own church. LOL. As of now, their home is still safe and intact.

The air quality is horrible. Lots of smoke and ash are in the air. Lots of schools are closed in the valley, including my son's.

Never a dull moment around here.

Sea

Jo - I would also pay... I know you are a HUGE fan and you know what you are only on this earth 1 time so enjoy it the best you can....

Sea - How is your son doing? I hope everything is ok by you.

KB - We are looking forward to your trip to DLR! We are going to have a blast, I promise! :cool1: :snooty: :cool1:

Mari - Glad to hear that everything got worked out with your DSS.

Shelly - Congrats on making it to double digits!

NC - I hope your DS feels better really soon and that nobody else gets sick. That is so awesome about all the neat things you did for RftC.

Jo - Omg single digits! And you aren't packed yet? Are you so stoned from sniffing those plastic sleeves that you can't get anything done around there? Come on and eat some brownies and get to work. Seriously now!

Sea

:scared1: Jo -- DEEP BREATH!!! Ok, you can do this...you know how...if I knew how to post a packing cow I'd do it for you, but here's a coupla disco bananas:

KB - You need a ticker. I need some more tickers to look at. Ya know, maybe I need a ticker of my own.

great idea!!! DONE :goodvibes

KB - We are looking forward to your trip to DLR! We are going to have a blast, I promise! :cool1: :snooty: :cool1:

Yep, we are :thumbsup2 Loved TSM at WDW, can't wait to ride it again at DCA! And I know Brrt will ride ToT with you guys...I just don't think I can do that one anymore :scared1:

Now this is funny...Mickey Mouse registered to vote this summer:

What a coincidence...I was going to vote FOR him :rotfl2:

KB - Will you ride CA Screamin'? How about Soarin' Over California? Grizzly River Rapids???

KB - Will you ride CA Screamin'? How about Soarin' Over California? Grizzly River Rapids???

Soarin' Over California is probably my all time favorite ride ANYWHERE :goodvibes CA Screamin' is good -- I like Matterhorn, Space, and Big Thunder better, but it's a good coaster and I always ride it at DCA. Grizzly River, yes, we like it -- better in hot weather than December  But I'll try to remember ponchos so we aren't walking around soaked. I just can't do drop rides like ToT or heaven forbid the Maliboomer :scared1: DH loves that one too, but I understand it's closing. I also have problems with the Sun Wheel -- anything that takes me up high...and then...leaves me up high...for a long time...and I want to come back down...and I can't... :faint:

I know I want to ride Soarin' (at least twice, but we'll also be in DCA other days), TSM for sure, and I want to see the Aladdin show. Are they closing MSEP? I didn't see it listed on the entertainment schedule for December. Brrt couldn't care less about parades, but I love them...and that one has fond memories for me...I remember when it really was on Main Street :goodvibes And after we've had our day of fun with you guys, I'm dragging Brrt to dinner at Ariel's with the princesses (he's a good sport, and a little bit of a flirt, so he'll go along with that ). I took DSD and DGD there in February and it was really fun with okay food, and I've read that they've greatly improved the menu, so that's good. I don't think I can request Priority Seating until 30 days before, though.

Hooray! KB has a ticker!

I just love watching everyone's tickers.

Off to the dentist today.

Morning Mari! :goodvibes

What's everyone up to today?

I'm looking forward to a day at home today after all the running around the past few days - with the horrible doctor's visit and all the Christmas shopping! I did get a lot of my shopping done yesterday. I think I bought everything there is that is Star Wars! :rotfl:

Wow shelly you are ahead of the game. I'm taking after you this christmas I'm starting early for the people that aren't going with us in Jan to WDW. Everyone that is going is getting Dis giftcards.

Well today I'm going to hang out with my Dsis and DNep my DBIL has to go away on some training from Mon - Thurs so she is lonely.

Jo - YAY 8 days left and you will be in WDW..... YAY.....
