Hey all... Long weekend for me.... On saturday I was running around picking up last minute things for my DH party. It was great. Everybody had a great time. Then on Sunday my DH is into cars and stuff so he had a car show which was great but it was COLD yesterday. But all in all we all had a good time. Tonight we are going out with his friends to have a bday dinner for the people that have bdays this month which within his friends circle it's like 10 of them....

My dd's birthday is tomorrow. I need to go to Wal-Mart to pick-up giant cookies that she wants for her class party.

I brought up 2 suitcases from the basement for our little weekend trip this coming weekend and set them in the doorway to my bedroom today. As soon as the kids got home from school DS7 spotted them. He got this huge smile on his face and said - HEY WHAT ARE THOSE SUITCASES DOING UP HERE??? They still have the LGMH's attached to them from our last trip. I think he seriously thought we were going to WDW. Poor little guy. But judging from the look on his face Christmas morning is going to be something else!! Can't wait!!

hey all...... nc - we are all going to a cuban restaurant. one of the guys mother owns it so we are all going there....we are actually in the car on our way there.

I did it. . . . I just voted for the first time ever!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. Quick and painless!

Now I'm off to the school to sort and deliver the fall fundraising items.

That is so sweet. Poor Baby- he doesn't even know the excitement that awaits him. Are you ready for the weekend? Who are the kids staying with?

Mari- It sounds like you guys had fun. I don't even know if we have a cuban place around here. I think we are going to eat mexican tonight. There is a little place near here that serves authenic mexican food. My dd loves it. All the workers are mexican and speak Spanish. She practices her Spanish with them. They are really sweet to her.

Shelly - Only 10 minutes to vote? I almost think that's un-American. It should be excruitiately painful and horrific - like when I voted. Good for you for voting!

Everybody post your voting experience. You know I want to hear all about. How long it took, where ya voted, any interesting people in line with you, every gory detail.

My voting took 30 minutes. There were 3 electronic voting machines, all with old people staring at them and squinting- they really needed help in the worse way- and miles of paper ballot spots. So Marky and i grabbed the paper ballots and went to town bubbling in the stuff. I felt like I was doing a Scan Tron in high school, LOL.

Anyone wanna talk about who you voted for and why? We all love each other here and I know I wouldn't think twice about telling y'all my deepest darkest secrets- and I certainly respect all of you- and wouldn't think twice about it if you voted differently than me. So I'll tell you first.

I voted McCain.
I truly didn't have a hard time with my decision. I genuinely respect the man and I agree with him on the issues.

So- am I the only one who wants to divulge the secret????
