Hi all!

Still here at WDW :Pinkbounc and counting down the days :)

Thanks for all of the links that have been posted. When I return I will add them to the webpage.

I think it will be very cool if the ship is only half full :) Hope for an upgrade maybe :)

Been talking to several people and they are very jealous of this trip :smooth:

Talk to you all this weekend!

Debbie

Kinda surprised at those numbers of cabins booked. It is still away off. Will have to see, in the mean time up grade all to a Cat 4 or better......

Deb, enjoy the rest of your trip..

I wonder if that means we could get TWO dinners at Palo...

oh heavens! :p

well then it'd be better if the ship is only half full cuz if i get to eat dinner in palo twice they're gonna two cabins just to hold me!! hehehe :rotfl2:

We've never been to Palo yet, so two would be cool! We're counting on the upgrade! We did really well on the upgrade last year.

What?!?!?! :scared1: :faint:  :scared:

Never been to Palo? HERECY!!!!

Well hopefully with so many days at sea you can find a way to squeeze at least one visit to Palo into your trip! It's sooooooooooo worth it! :cloud9:

There is no doubt that we will be dining at Palo this time. We couldn't do it last time because DD wasn't ready to stay by herself at Flounders nursery. This time she is totally ready to be on her own and probably more than we are ready for her to be!

I know what you mean about the price of the txts ouch!

Back from DL Hong Kong and had a great time. Will have to try to post a trip report soon.

I watched the Today Show this morning and Matt was in Barcelona. It was pretty KEWL! Can't wait for this cruise. Just think................one year from right now we will be on our last sea day before arriving at Tenerife. I am sure all the Krispy Kremes and fruit will be long gone and we will anxiously be awaiting for a food delivery from our next port! HA

WELCOME BACK LINDA!!! Yes!!! A trip report will be GREAT!

So glad you had a WONDERFUL TIME!!! :cool1:

Debbie, Where are you staying at WDW?
Linda, I'd love to hear more about your trip.

After watching the very sweet film of Rosie's family cruise, it made me wonder about weddings on the Magic/Wonder. Anybody know anything about them? Do they do them?

Tarzan just opened on broadway...the small clips i saw reminded me of the version at WDW....i think they just moved it to NY!!!! there are so many renovations out there...i am also glad to see a nemo ride and the see what the final outcome for the Seas Pavilion turns out to be at EPCOT...

airfare is going to be unreal, especially with gas prices climbing....it is sad that airfare is almost as much as our stateroom! :rotfl2:

I apologize if I'm repeating a question, but 37 pages is a lot to read. :)

Has anyone done some research regarding how rough an atlantic crossing can be? I'm trying to decide between the eastward crossing or the first mediterranean cruise, and the smoothness of the ride will certainly be a factor.

Mother Nature is a hard woman to predict...So far nobody on this thread has tried... There might be easier criteria for cruise itinerary selection.....Might be easier just to stock up on Bonine, pin up the itineraries and throw a dart....

or ask Scott...he's the GEO-man.....

Lynda, I just throw a dart..... LOL or flip a coin.

I would like to experience some rougher waters. It would be KEWL to have photos of waves breaking over the bow.

Eastbound might be smoother as it is pre "season" and westbound will be in the middle of the "season". Just my thoughts. Yet I am sure the Captain will do everything to to keep both voyages smooth sailing.

Milestogo, Debbie Was at OKW. Her first visit using her Dvc...(came home yesterday) :wave2:
We chattted with her late at night a few times.. :smooth:
Sounds like the weather was warm and a Good time was had by all.. :smooth:

Peter

Thanks, Peter. I'm very curious as a new DVC member about the various locations. We are waiting for our new number to start booking for next year. I've been wondering about the weather in the beginning of May, I understand it is less humid and rainy. What is the weather like at CC when we will be there next year?

Yes I am home :(

Stayed at OKW for the first time and first trip as a DVC member. LOVED OKW!!! Doubt we will go back this late in May again. Toooooo darn hot for my blood. Yes it is an usually hot time for them, and only one day of rain. The one thing that saved us this past week was the humidity was not as high as it can be.

Last year on Castaway Cay it was a beautiful day. Not too humid, just hot enough. So I suspect it can be the same next year.

I will have to read back on the thread and capture all of the links and info!

Debbie

Welcome home, Debbie. Do have a particular location at OKW that you would recommend that we request? I'm glad to hear about the humidity not being so bad... from CA we have a bit of trouble with the humidity, we just aren't good with it!

Does anyone know what a Dole Whip is? Is the items they serve at the Tiki Room - the Dole Whip Float? I heard they were great on another thread, but I'm not sure what it is and is it available at DL?

Well this was my first trip, but I really liked Building 48 and those in the South Point bus stop area. The ones near the hospitality house seem awfully busy to me and last on the bus route.

Do I know what a dole whip is?!?!?!?!? It is very popular with my mother :) It is the same thing that you get outside of the Tiki room at DL. I did not realize that you could get them there!! My mother was quite happy to get her fix.

Someone else that has stayed at OKW may be able to answer the location question better than I can

Debbie
