Merry Christmas--it's still Christmas to me until New Years!!!

Tomorrow the twins turn 13--officially 4 teen daughters in my house--exactly what I imagined all those years ago when I was expecting my first. I am truly blessed!

I'm hosting one of those parties, too, though I'm not quite sure what all help we get doing it. I'm sure we will have great fun with our friends. We've already addicted one couple to DCL and are working on another. They're already Disney-holics, so it's just a matter of time. The first couple calls us DCL-crack dealers.

We got that DCL party notice on the 21st and it said the deadline was the 16th????? It sounds fun. I wonder if anyone is doing one here. Think I'll still call. Looks like Toys R Us at our house. Jonathan got the flu on Xmas day!

Yep, we left town to go to Robert's kids and figured we hadn't been selected because Ken and Shari got theirs on the 16th, I think. We got back on Dec 23rd and I had been sent a notice on the 19th. Figured either people turned them down or they hadn't finished notifying everyone.

I'm going to put together a slide show of the PC cruise and the Med cruises I think (if I can get those done, it will be a miracle!)

Don't know when we will be at DL again, but I promised Jamie sometime before May 1st because that is when our annual passes expire. Hopefully we can have a mini meet.

Hi All looks like we have all been busy with the Holidays, as there has been decreased activity here. I hope all enjoyed the days and reflected on the joys we have been blessed with.

Looking forward to the New Year, because as far as I can figure it has not been lived in yet, and I am ready to fill the 2008 Bank of Memories.

Our weather has been pretty nasty with lots of wind and blowing snow, several roads are closed as I type.

We had a great Christmas, and got lots done on the basement project. All the major framing is done, a good portion of the electrical is roughed in, and the project I was dreading, cutting into the concrete floor to find a drain pipe for the bar area. Got lucky and found it right away. That was a pretty messy project.

Training for the ½ was diminished with the weather and a trip to the doc for a routine exam and stuff, for us old guys. All is well just really pooped me out for a good day.

Well back to the salt mines tomorrow.

I want to wish you all a great New Year filled with adventures and dreams fulfilled.

Yes Scott I agree it has been quiet on the boards. I should talk since I have been busy too. We had my in laws here since the 23rd of Dec. DD really was into Santa this year so that was great to see all her expressions. Alex was home for Christmas for the first time in 10 years plus...
We did have some bad news my dad had another heart attack on Christmas morning. Now I am looking for help at night with him because I just can't up this pace. If anyone knows of anyone looking please pm me. I would appreciate it.
We will be staying home tonight and not going out.
Our winter projects are on hold until we can get things settled down.

I'm actually doing home care rightnow, but alas, I am too far away. I would help if I could!

I just got a call from the lady I care for and got the night off! hurray! I need to be here to monitor DD18's party. They are good kids, all of them, but their parents will feel better if both Scott and I are here. They just went sledding. Such a "wild" party, huh? They're having a cook-off (the guys and girls all love to cook) and watching "Grease" later. I enjoy these kids. I'm glad they'll be here.

Happy New Year! Been busy since Christmas working with mom's gift. We bought a slide/negative scanner. Got out bunches of slides and started scanning! It takes a while to do, but worth it. Most of my pictures from ages 1-4 are on slides. Now have to find old negatives, which is more difficult and start scanning those.

It seems that I was destined to be on the bow of the ship
