LOL, Erik! I never intended he be cut loose! Heavens no! I am LDS, ya know...and don't we have a rep for multiple spouses (not true, btw, lest the other LDS on board come after me!!!) I'll just have three husbands!!! Scott can care for the kids, Jason can massage, and you can handle everything else...:cloud9:

Greedy Greedy thing!!! Because if I remember correctly....Orlando and Johnny factored in there somewhere, too, didn't they?!?:rotfl:

:tigger:
Erik

p.s. oh and don't worry....my community has a bad reputation for not being able to be long-term & monogomous either....we'll both just have to prove the world wrong! :rotfl:

Ah, sure. I can't be greedy. Anyway, the group-hug icon has 5 people in it, so it's meant to be! :grouphug:

Um, Eric, you're marrying Laura, too, 'kay??? :rolleyes1

That's fine....I'll just tell my mother "when it rains, it pours!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Kids don't forget to pack a mailing tube just in case we get a groovy print from DCL, or other stuff ya don't want to fold.

Mine is like a credit card - hard plastic and looks a little different:

Castawayclubcard002.jpg

OOOH THANKS! Just to spite DCL for never sending me any card at all...jason and I are now going to have the FANCIEST Castaway Cards...I'm going to use both images and make one the front and one the back!!!:lmao:

Or you can buy them aboard, too. On the last cruise we went on I happened to win one of the sketches that Ducky Williams drew during his lecture (of Tigger, of course) and I was able to buy a tube on the ship so I didn't ruin the sketch bringing it home. That sketch is now framed wiht a picture I took of Ducky and the raffle ticket that won me the print. It's one of my most prized possessions!

OK last post before "Idol" on TV.....

but I wanted to share that there was a light at the end of my horrible computer saga tunnel. (Rio will love this, Hadley) Among the things I lost in the great hard drive catastrophe was all the music in my iTunes library.....but lo and behold I emailed iTunes and they were able to, at no expense, reload to my NEW hard drive all the songs I had actually paid for through the iTunes store online....which included THE ENTIRE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL SOUNDTRACK.....so a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders! hehehehe :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Laura, are you bringing hand-work on the cruise? Someone is bringing quilting and I'm bringing knitting.
Maybe I'll dig some of my cross stitch projects out from the bottom of the closet. I could work on them while waiting in the lounge for someone to show up and play games.

I almost forgot, I have another question. Someone asked earlier, but I don't remember seeing an answer. How much do the washers and dryers cost to opperate? I'd like to figure out how many quarters to bring if I wash every third or fourth day.

Thanks,

Lori

That is great news Eric! Kudos to Apple for stepping up!

I always bring my crosstich, but rarely seem to actually do any of it! :rotfl2:

I haven't actually done laundry before, but I believe I read that it is $1/wash and $1/dry, but plan on two dry cycles - so $3/load. I'm bringing a roll of quarters or maybe 2. I know I will be doing laundry, but hopefully I won't be doing that much. There is too much other stuff to do on the ship!

Ken, thanks for the reminder on the mailing tube. Added it to the packing list.

Checked off a couple more items on my "to do" list today, and spent way too much time playing around with door signs:rotfl2: .

Erik--Thanks for the tipo about The Last Mimzy. We really enjoyed the flick:thumbsup2 And I am very happy to hear you got your music back (tunes are very important--I was raised by a DJ, music was and is king)

DizzneyDAnn--Does the knitting offer apply to 10 year old girsl? Marika only recently learned and tends to forget what to do occasionally. Since I have no idea (and neither will Jan) I have been telling her she shoudl not bring it as no one will be able to help her when she forgets. I know you have a bunch of girls at home, so you may not want to teach one on vacation;)

Dining Plan--I gave only a minimal answer in my post, but as Erik now knows I am rather obsessive about finding the best way to getting the most enjoyable vacation possible for the least amount of money (one income, two kids, insatiable need to travel:rolleyes1 ). I will happily share more with anyone who wants it (or just plan your WDW dining experiences for you:rotfl: ). Hmm, maybe I can have a planning seminar right after Robert's binder presentation:rotfl2:

Scott--I would never have thought to pack a mailing tube. Now I am debating, do I pack one just in case? Do I spend too much to buy one on board? Hmm, best not to pack one as this will insure we do indeed get nifty prints!:rotfl2:

Elizabeth--back when APs got $49 All Star rooms, they were only available at Music and Sports so we have stayed at both many times (they are good enoug hfor us when the price is right!). All of the All Stars are very simlar in terms of size, services, etc. Sports does share busses with Music and once in a while during Spetember we have had busses stop at ALL THREE. Sports is our least favourite only because none of us care much for sports:rolleyes: so the theming doesn't really appeal to us. The only real problem we have had is that sports teams (Pop Warner Superbowl and Cheer Compitions, etc.) tend to be placed here--meaning lots of poorly supervised kids. You can call and ask if any large groups will be there when you are.

OK, been gone all day and trying to catch up...
Harry Potter, knitting, Am Idol, multiple marriages OY

Harry Potter, I have the entire collection with Jim Dale reading it on CD. If anyone wants to listen I'd be happy to loan it out. He won the Grammy and all time award for best vocal reader and actor. Love it. Laura, you need to book the July cruise to read the new one.

Knitting and game playing: I'm writing 3 books simultaneously, so I will be typing, but will sit next to all of you while doing it. I know that sounds like work, but I've been desperate to work on it and am really, really looking forward to it. My current plan is to write one book each major repo for the next 5 years.

Barcelona, I was supposed to organize, but have been so busy that I've really blown my obligation here. Thanks, Ken for posting from the 11 night that is perfect! I'll do some work on this I promise.

LDS mutliple marriages: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ok this is kind of off topic....but has anyone eaten in both Cap'n Jack's and Fultons? And more specifically...does anyone have a comparison for the crab cakes in either? Jason and I actually ABHOR sea food....but my parents LOVE it....so they've asked us to take them to one of the seafood restaurants before we see Cirque. In specific, my mother is from Baltimore...so she's kind of a "crab snob" and loves crab cakes (and, as you might imagine, there are no good crab cakes in the upper peninsula of Michigan!)......so she wants really good crabcakes. In fact...she emailed me her "ideal" crabcake:

"hand made on site with chunks at least 1/2 inch in size
of crab meat in it."

so does anyone know if either of those 2 restaurants can offer my mom what she's looking for here?

:tigger:
Erik

Erik, did you get the official WDW planner? Wasn't sure if you're getting email.

Hey Kelly,

yes I thought I emailed you back to say thanks...but maybe that got lost in all my computer drama. I did get our Fantasmic package booked for during the week....I put our brunch with you and your family on our agenda.....my parents know they want to see Spectromagic which is only showing monday and thursday...and thursday we're seeing cirque...so we have to go on monday....so we decided to eat at boma that night after they arrive and then head to MK to do a few rides, then spectromagic and wishes....so really our week's events have kind of just fallen into place!!
