Boma - is great for kids - they have a whole section of kid foods. Chicken fingers, fries, mac&cheese etc. The soups are good - the mango one is sweet so I think kids would go for that one. The fish is awesome (done in banana leaves with almond crust - yummy!!) I can go on and on...oh yes - they have PB&J as well.

Kelly--I'm so jealous, I didn't get a special DVD?! Maybe today, we'll see. And can I ask what is prompting you to get the WDW Annual Pass? I know you're a CA Dineyland local, just curious.
Chris: scoobypop

Chris, I'm getting the annual pass because Eric made me! :rotfl:

No really, we decided to get the pass because we are going back again next year for a whole week before the Panama Canal cruise. So, we decided to go again (using our DVC points) for a week in December. But, you're right we are DL locals and you are not very far from us which means you are due for a trip out here!!!!! It is our pleasure to show visitors around our area - there is a lot to see outside of DL, so do let us know when you are heading across the border.

Thanks very much to everyone giving me so much detail about the DDE. I was surprised because our annual passes at DL provides a discount at all the restaurants. So, we assumed it was the same at WDW. I wasn't sure if I was understanding it correctly. What another $65 on top of the pass :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Kelly - if you are DVC be sure to get that discount 20% is a pretty good number at disney prices!!

i am thinking about ordering rubber bracelets for this cruise....anyone interested? they are only $1.39 each in both adult and youth sizes if we order a total of 120....just let me know...i would be willing to organize...;)

Yes, please count us in! (1 adult and 1 child) - no maybe you better make that 2 adult and 2 child - one to wear and one to save, for the memory box!.

if it wasn't for this board, i wouldn't known about the price reduction until i got on the ship (much too late)! the reduction worked relatively easy except i did lose my shore excursions but got everything back except the equestrian show. for those of you who lost gibralter on your own --- it is available or was just a few moments ago!

Good morning to all,

I keep reading on the boards that CMs like candy for a small treat. Do you all think Girl Scout cookies would do about the same thing? I'm thinking I can buy an extra case from my daughter and tape up the box and check it as is on the plane. Then, the kids can hand them out to club staff, etc. about mid cruise as a little treat. I'm thinking it is somehting a little different, but still has that sugar fix concept. What do you think? Would it be too weird?

I think Girl Scout Cookies would be a WONDERFUL treat, especially for the CM's from other countries, because she could explain the meaing of them. Of course, the American kids would gobble them right up!

Great idea! (Then I don't have to haul any across the country)

FYI-I take care of all the finances for our Girl Scout Council. We will finish our cookie sale in two weeks. We move over 112,000 cases of cookies, which, if you are counting is over 1,344,000 boxes of cookies!

Our office has about 800 cases of cookies sitting in here right now for cookie booths.

And....I have to say, I have been very good, and only eaten a couple of Do-si-dos!

:thumbsup2

After hearing that priced fell for Cat 12 cabins and that several of you had your prices lowered. I called Costco and asked for the new price. He went away for a few minutes and then came back any said the lower price was not available after you have made your final payment and applied only to new bookings. I told him that must be an error as I knew several of you have received the discount and we are all past the final payment date.

He went away for a longer time and then came back with our $1500 discount.

I could swear when I first booked my original June 6th Med cruise through Disney they assured me that I would benefit from any price reduction. Does anyone know what the official policy is? Is this a Squeaky Wheel situation?

My TA is on vacation and won't get back until Monday and I don't want to lose the rate. So I called the corporation she is affiliated with and the agent there is trying to get me the discount/price adjustment. :surfweb: Will let you know when I hear something!

Oh, and I was a good girl and wrote down and printed out ALL of the confirmations for all my excursions and Palo ressies for when I have to call DCL and tell them to put'em back! (of course this is after they tell me I never made any...:lmao: )
