V, add the fee for the two girls to that for another 1800. So you did great to get in on day one.

Ok

You have to look at this camera. Vanessa brought it with her from Norway and we able to get it at Best Buy for Annie for her birthday. It is so cool cause it is waterproof and you can take it swimming with you!! It is a SW790/Olympus.

Can we have the wedding on the Magic!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I remember when you posted that picture before and I was thinking, "Wow, that camera has a great zoom"! I never would have thought it was taken from the water! Very cool!

Oooooooooh! I'd love to get married on the Magic! As a matter of fact, after my first cruise, I told myself if I ever get married again, that's where I'll do it!

Well, the hospital just called and they have been able to completely ween Frank off of the artifical heart!! We are waiting for the snow to get here...so I went ahead and cooked dinner early (just about ready) and Don and I are going to the hospital.

He is still in a coma and he is still on the ventalator....but this is a very big step. His heart is finally working on its own!!

They are hoping to bring him out of the coma some tonight, so Don and I want to be there.....

Thanks to all for listening me though this.....it really helps to type your thoughts out!!:goodvibes :goodvibes
Oh Lisa, this is great news! Such a big step for him!

Holly....I love the name Blake! He sounds like a wonderful beau....I hope he calls you.
I hope he does too! I really wanted to look him up all these years but didn't want to because he was married. But since he's not any more, I definitely want to get in touch with him. We've both had tons of changes over the last 13 or so years.

We were married 12/2/00 - and we spent literally every penny we had on our honeymoon....we came home and got the saddest looking tree, then John brought home a grinch balloon we used as the star.....all I wanted for xmas was an "our first" ornament...well, Johnny found an awesome shell ornament and wrote on it...since I guess Hallmark was closed!

Awwwww.......that's SO sweet! What a memorable 1st Christmas! I'm so ready to start making memories like that. I've dated on and off over the years, but the last real relationship I had was my ex-husband (before Tyler's dad) and we divorced in 2001. Then a short thing with Tyler's dad right after my divorce, and only a few dates on and off since then. It was really great to have time to be myself for all those years and not have to worry about compromising with anybody, but now I'm ready to meet somebody.

Samantha heard some jingle bells and went on a tare! She cleaned her bathroom even hanging up the towels!!!!!!!:scared1:
I tried your elf story with Tyler tonight. No luck. He asked, "Mom, is that really true?" Of course I told him it was, but he said, "No it's not! Santa can already see everything, so his elves wouldn't do that. And they're already too busy making toys!" :rotfl2: Darn it!

Holly Where have you been tonight, I needed to chat and no one was home here.

Is it snowing?

I bought the book and started it but it is a bit heavby going at first - well for me anyway. I will persevere.

I bought a new book at the Mega Mousefest Meet called Realityland by David Koenig and that is very interesting. It is about how they built WDW - all the back room arguements and problems etc. From Walt's dream, how they changed the dream, how they found the land. I am only in the early stages of the book but this will come before the PC one!

At our last Mouseadventure David Koenig did a presentation after the adventure and before the winners were announced. Very entertaining and informative - I've been wondering how the books are. Be sure and let us know what you thought of it when you finish.

Great news!! Hopefully he has a good night.

oh John1 ---- did you read Angels & Demons or The Da Vinci Code....(not the movie) I know it isn't SK....just curious.

Not John1 - but I liked Angels & Demons better than the Da Vinci Code. I heard they are making a movie of that one that too.

I do, I love the holidays, it really lets you sit back and think. My Grandad loved Christmas. Loved it...his thing was cruising though, and always got me skates and a WDW AP - and a cruise (and John John too - but he got hockey skates!!! we skated in Clearwater!)!....my Grandma loves it as well, but I think since my Grandad died she has never really been the same. She had an in home daycare and always did so much for all her kids, even glueing cottonballs on the windows for snow....It's been a lot of years now, I know my Grandma has John John....(he's my "brother", we grew up together, he's my Uncle Wayne's son whom they adopted when he was 6 weeks, and while my mom would not allow them to adopt me, we grew up together) so she isn't alone, but for me, it is so hard going "home" he always traveled and I got to sleep in their bed when he was overseas. I am not sure that I can ever accept he's gone....I feel I need something tangible.....as awful as that sounds...but....

I am thankful that they, he, saw me perform ...........the day he found out he had cancer, was my national competition at UCLA. He was there with a smile and I was none the wiser. (and we lost...one girl threw a shoe:rotfl: !!)

....they had been in South Africa as well....he was an Engineer with Jacobs Engineering. No matter that I had no one in the audience at any of my shows....I always had a box of roses...a box, I am not sure why or where I thought that, but I felt it was the most romantic way a performer could get flowers...maybe someone I had seen in a play? I still love roses in a box...

Especially when Christmas comes, I miss him so much. He loved me, that I know. There is so much he never saw me do ...I just wish he could have met John, got a glimpse of my girls, let him know how much he influenced my life.

V....this is so special....what great memories.....you should feel blessed that you had him in your life. Christmas is a time for reflection and a time to be thankful for all our loved ones, whether they are still with us or not.

:santa: :santa: :santa:

GinaMarie....I'll post a pic of my flowers in a few days after the lillies fully open....they will look best then.

Noel....Belini Cheers to you!!! Happy Birthday and have a great trip. Can't wait to hear your stories and see pics when you return.

LisaG....thanks for letting us know about Venetia and Bubba....glad everything is ok and that they're busy celebrating the season.

Well, the winter storm is here....we're getting ice pellets, no snow....but it's coming down on top of the snow that's already on the ground. It's going to be slippery....no going out tomorrow....good thing we got all our errands done today including grocery shopping. We're all ready and set for a long day in the house. We'll set up our tree and decorate. I think I'm only doing the tree and the manger this year. That's enough.

I just finished making 6 pounds of chocolate fudge, 3 pounds of candy cane fudge, and 3 dozen pizzelles. I was going to make m&m cookies too but I've run out of steam (and it is 10:50pm).

Most of it is for gifts - though I'm going to make more pizzelles just for us.

Tomorrow we are going to see I am Legend.

Last night we took the Holiday Magic Tour at DL. It was great - we even got reserved chairs for the parade! Plus we stayed for the fireworks - but only got to see half as they abruptly stopped them due to winds at higher elevations. It did still snow on Main St. The park looks great - I'll try to post pics in the next day or 2.

Night all!!

We got our tree....I think it's very Charlie Brownish because it's only 4 feet tall....but it's got a good shape and it's bushy. We had to get a tree to go on a table because Angel (the dog for all the new friends) and Ella (the cat) will knock it down as Angel chases Ella all over the house.

Then we went to Hallmark and got our traditional new Mickey ornament for the tree. We get a one every year. This year we got Micky and Minnie shopping....it's really cute.....Minnie is on the cell phone while Mickey is carrying all the presents.

We'll put the tree up and decorate tomorrow. It's getting late tonight and we have to do dinner. We'll be snowed in anyway. It's supposed to get here about 3am.

Hope you have all your supplies in for a cosy warm day. It's been many yhears since we have had a day like that. We lived in a village on a hill and we did get snowed in just a couple of times - about 20 years ago. Sunce then the amount of snow has been getting less with global warming.

I bought a new ornament in DTD, and we were given some in our Secret Santa exchance on the cruise. too, so these are nice memories. The one I bought will remind me of you, John and Monica cos I bought it at DTD!!!!

We didn't have a tree the first 2 years, then a tree but no lights, then just kept adding deccies since then. I have a full tree. I move ornaments around even up to the day I take the tree down!!!:lmao:

I am reading but not posting as I will be leaving in 5 days on my birthday for WDW!!

John and I have been packing, unpacking and weighing suitcases all day. We have tons of electronic gizmos so we have to keep changing suitcases. Our heaviest suitcase weighed 66 pounds so we had to partially upack and repack. Since we are gone for almost three weeks (including CES) we are taking more clothes than we normally take on a trip.

We will have more of a problem for our May cruise with being away for almos 4 weeks, though we shouldn't need anything for cold weather so that should cut down a bit. We took extra layers and more long trousers this time because the weather was forecast to go cold for the last few days, but it never happened!!!!

What is CES?

Mmm, send a piece of fudge Lisa please?? Yum.

I actually started reading your post - 'I've just finished GAINING 6 pouunds of chocolate fudge....'!!!!:scared1: Wonder what I had on my mind.:lmao:
