I found them and really love them, but can't do it. I detest yellow gold. I only wear white gold. They're plated in 24k yellow gold. I would hate them and never wear them. If you wear yellow gold, I would definitely go ahead and get them.

If you ever see them in white gold, please let me know. I have the same kind in sterling silver and don't wear them either, coz I only wear white gold.

I wish! Flight schedules just never seem to work out right to get us to MCO before noon. Hopefully this year we'll be able to find a better schedule. Haven't looked at flights yet.

Long, hard, very sad day.

Frank (my DFIL) was supposed to be operated on at 10am....well it was delayed (like they warned us) and he went in at 1pm.

Many unexpected complications and he was in for 10 hours...(just got home fromt he hospital. The doctor said he is just about as sick as anyone can be and still be alive. Once they finished with the surgery, his heart would not start up on its own. They had to use a "ballon pump" to keep his heart going. He can not breathe on his on and is on a ventilator. At midnight, let us see him for a minute or two.

We need to take this minute by minute. When we were in with him, all these alarms started going off and they pushed us out of the room. After a few minutes, everything calmed down and they let us back in.

They will keep him in a coma for several days. The only think I asked was "can he feel any pain" and they assured me he was comfortable.

I am off to bed.

Lisa So sorry you've had such a hard and emotional day. Hope they are able to continue to keep your FIL comfortable as he begins to heal. Sending hugs and prayers. I hope you are able to rest some too, you will need to keep your strength up, Im sure you must feel just drained

Good afternoon everyone...it's dark as night here today....got about 3 inches of snow then pure ice falling on top of it. John is going to have a long slow drive home tonight. I hope he can get up the driveway. He left the truck at the bottom and took the car in today.

John didn't have time to look at the excursions yet, so last night I read him my picks and told him why. He agreed to all of them. Yea!!! Now I know what we're going to be doing. I'm ready to book them now....it's going to be hard to wait another six weeks until we can do so.....90 days out should be Feb 10th or sometime around there. Any one figure out the exact date yet?

Yeah, we got ice and then snow and then more ice.. not even nice enough to take Olivia out in the snow

Probably us! With my grandfather in the wheelchair, the buffet is tough! We went to Parrot Cay last time and we'll probably do that again. Start enjoying the great cruise food ASAP!!

Thanks I have had a really good day today, best my back's been in 3 weeks. I got through work and was able to sit quite comfortably for 3 hrs at dinner for our "girl's night out".

Kathe, I'd recommend parasailing at CC. It's GREAT to be up there looking down at the Magic and our favorite island. Also...if there is any reason they have to cancel it (high winds for example), you can still try and add it on in a later port.

....back to lunch time catch up...

Kathe - I would also suggest CC for parasailing. Althought lots of people do it in Mexico there are not inspections or any type of regulation. I just have a problem doing something like this when nobody answers to anyone. Aruba would also be ok.

We'll see. I'm supposed to meet with a client on Sunday afternoon in NYC, though if the weather is awful I might put it off. Olivia also has her swim lessons on Sunday mornings.
The bad thing about Long Island is that we get a lot more ice and a lot less actual snow because of the humidity and everything. Last year I don't think we got any good snow without ice!

I'm off to bed. I'll be dreaming of that Christmas bonus I should be getting tomorrow! Plus, last year my boss slipped me a big extra check on the sly, from his personal checking account, tucked inside a Christmas card, because he didn't want anybody else to know. To keep things fair, all 3 partners decide on an amount that they give all the secretaries, but he didn't think that was a fair amount and wanted to supplement it. It almost doubled my bonus! I was speechless and actually teared up! I almost hugged him, but knew he'd be uncomfortable with that. Because of what he did, I really want to think of something special to do for him. Although he can be very difficult to work for because of his age, he really is a sweet old man who always seems to take the time to ask about things in my life, and he lets me sit at my desk and study at work, no matter how much work needs to be done, and is very sweet to Tyler when I bring him in to visit.

Boy, this thread moves fast! It great that you know each other so well just by posting. Hopefully I 'll get to know all of you as well.
Marilyn- Welcome home! You will love owning DVC, We feel it's one of the best investments we have made. We own at SSR and will be staying there in 10 days for the first time. We love BWV and BCV as well. Lucy and I are also travelling by ourselves on this cruise. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on this cruise. Our boys are older so they can pretty much take care of themselves so we're travelling without them for the first time. My sods have been to WDW over 50 times since they were born, so I think it's finally our time alone.
Deb- Remember, you have friends going to WDW shortly. If there is anything (like Tink jewelry) you want us to pick up, let us know. We'll be happy to get it.
