I went out for pizza and a beer with my friend. Well, I had a beer, he always has lots and lots and lots of beers. I discovered a new kind of beer that I LOVE now....it's called Sunny Wheat and tastes like BLUEBERRIES! Very strange, but VERY yummy!

I am not a flavored beer fan...and I really don't even like the specialty brews that Hops has..and I hate dark beer.

It's funny, in college, I could drink whatever someone else was paying for! Now, I am picky!

I can't believe it's so close to Christmas either. I still have to get my tree!!! I don't take it down until the weekend after John's birthday which is Jan 11th, so I usually get it late in the season anyway and because we chop it down, it stays fresh until we take it down.

I'm considering leaving mine up longer this year because I have a Lia Sophia jewelry party on Jan. 5th and I think it would just be nice to have the house still look all festive and pretty! BUT I'm not sure if people will think it's nuts to still have stuff up that late. I guess I'll wait and see what condition the tree is in by then and will decide that way.

That's exactly how I am too. I ALWAYS drink Michelob Ultra because it's so light. So I was hesitant to try this....the waitress brought me a sample first to see if I'd like it and I was very pleasantly surprised. I've never liked a flavored or dark beer before. It's amazing because it tastes like a light beer as I drank it, but after I swallowed, that's when the blueberry flavor kicked in. No yucky aftertaste, only blueberry. And it smelled like a blueberry muffin. VERY strange!

Not me....BBCs at the pool....no kids here so we get to go to the adult pool, which is empty upon boarding.

I wonder if Lisa heard anything about her DFIL today. It sounds like he's in for a long road of recovery. I hope everything turns out ok for him. Lisa, you and your family are still in my thoughts....praying for a Christmas miracle!
