I just booked on their website, but booked a premium room as I though it might be a slightly more fitting end to the vacation! Not as fitting as the GC, but we can't manage that. I think you can buy tickets from there, but not sure if next year's were available yet.

I hope some more people will book there.

Well this week isnt ending well, came home from work this morning to a broken air conditioner and the house at 85. Not good in Florida! I usually sleep in my "cave" as my DH says. So of course I call and the guy was great,he was here in 15 min but told me needed new unit.the old one was only 5 years old .I cant do without it so let him do it and $2,400 later Its fixed but still trying to cool the house so now ive gotten no sleep.Then the tree guys come by (ongoing dispute with crazy neighbor) and gets his money. Im going to have to sue her if I want anything , shes refusing to pay. Pray nothing else goes wrong , they keep taking my saved Disney money.....grrrrrrrr

Thank you! I was actually quite surprised because I haven't been watching what I've been eating this week. I've been eating lots of comfort food. But I'm still happy about it! It's 3 pounds closer to my goal. I can't believe I'm almost 1/2 way there!

Heather, what a bummer! You definitely couldn't do without air conditioning in Florida. So I'm glad you were able to get it fixed right away. But having to fork over so much money at once sucks. Hang in there and focus on the cruise! I hope you get some sleep soon!

Well, I'm off to hunt online for the shoes Tyler fell in love with at Walmart this week! They're SO COOL! They're red, with flames across the toes, the inside of each shoe has a firefighter badge, the outside of each shoe has a fire truck that lights up. Unfortunately, they didn't have his size, so off I go to hunt!

Lets hope the house gets cool soon - I know how you need it there. That is a lot of money, but sometimes you just have to spend it!

Well we are using a dis bus to lax then renting a car there as were going to dl then to vegas and flying home from there. Im sure we could get 2 more pople in our car ,or maybe we should look into a minivan.

I think it is the luggage that will be a problem!!! I am sure there will be closer places to rent a car than going all the way to LAX. I know at the moment Enterprise isn't opening on the Sunday, but there is a closer airport and I believe the car hire firm there refunds the taxi fare it costs to get you there. I remember reading a post about it sometime ago.

Yes, thats true. Its much better this afternoon. It will also be a selling factor which is also another big thing going on right now. We are probably putting this house up for sale and moving to Iowa, everybody here goes IOWA but yes I have alot of family there. My cousins who are like sisters to me have 6 kids that are like nieces and nephews. One died last year, she was 13 and had Cystic fibrosis and her brother has it too and hes 11 now so prob wont live more then another 10 years . He loves bethany and shes very close to all of them up there . Bethany said shed even give up being close to WDW for them so were going to look at houses in October. Were just not sure when to do it, before or after cruise and such. Ive been starting to go through things a little at a time ...............omg im rambling like Holly LOL
Good thing is Ill be close to Holly and Tyler

Thats true and the way hubby says I pack I can do a whole car by myself

Well were going through the airport because was cheaper with the one way dropoff leaving it in Vegas.

DCL told me that they will have busses running to DL from about 8am until 12pm on the 25th - $30 per person. Sounds high but not to have to mess with luggage would be nice.

Last night I found Budget rent-a-car which is 6 miles away from the port (located at east ocean blvd, phone # 562-495-4316). Budget doesn't offer a shuttle service or pick up service to the port but I spoke to the agency and they said it costs about $15 to take a taxi and if you have a two day or longer rental they'll give you $10 back. So, I was able to reserve a Taurus with a different drop off location for $64 (one day rental). DH will go rent the car and pick us up at the port...since it's only 6 miles away, it'll take just a few minutes. If several people rent from that location, they can share the cost of the taxi...just a thought!
