Hi Granmaz

Not to worry about Candy Cane Inn as maybe my friend Alison and David might book it as it looks lovely.

However, I am still 50/50 not know if Disney Hotel or Candy Cane Inn.

I emailed du and got back the quote which was reliable prices for Paradise pier hotel package with one day universal studios.

They don't have Candy Cane Inn package :confused3

I am thinking about it:rolleyes: .

I have been in Anaheim about 17 years ago with family from Australia. They came home to UK and brought me back to Disneyland for a week then we went over to Australia for 6 weeks. That was October and the weather was brilliant - hot. Also in Anaheim is a lovely place. I suppose so that it will be a big change now. I cannot remember what name of motel as just crossed over from Disneyland. As LA/Hollywood are huge place!!

I am still searching about transportation how to get there to Anaheim from LA port.

I am off to work now grrrr as lovely day today. As I am working two nights shift.

Scottishwee35:thumbsup2

Deborah, Tigger1221 is looking into transport from the ports, but I am sure Disney will put some on for those staying at the onsite resorts.

We went off to Universal when we were there in 1997, and also Six Flags Magic Mountain, which has brilliant coasters, but not much style! We stayed almost within walking distance of Disney in a poor motel that was a Virgin one, but there was only the one park then, and John wasn't into Disney at all - still isn't really!:rotfl:

Holly,

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Holly, Happy Birthday to you.

Monica, have an AWESOME time in Argentina! We'll all miss you and will be anxiously waiting to hear all about your trip! Take lots of pics to show us! :goodvibes

Holly, through last winter and up till the present, I have been viewing this webcam. I didn't realise how close you were to the place - well in my term when looking at the map of course!!!

I can check on your weather too with the links down the page. Some nice wild animals to see also.

Actually, I have a better idea! I'll just wait until I'm with Tyler and we'll go pick out my birthday ice cream cake together! He'd think that's great fun and then we'll get some balloons, which he'll love too. :goodvibes We both need to have a day of fun together!

Wow you guys have been busy posting. I went on vacation for a week then was scheduled to have LASIK when I got back. I went in for the LASIK but at the last moment they told me my corneas were too thin so I had to have PRK which has a longer recover time than LASIK. So I had the PRK and had a rough time of it for a week. I had really bad light sensitivity so I couldn't watch TV, read, or get on my computer. The light was just too bright! I missed a couple of days of work and then when I did go back I had to wear sunglasses all day because my eyes couldn't take the light. I looked very silly inside with sunglasses on but what the heck.

Now I can see inside and outside without sun glasses. Hooray! My vision has gotten better but I still have to wait a few weeks for the final results. Hopefully I will end up with 20/20 vision. Right now I have 20/40 which is still a LOT better than what I had before the surgery.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Wow! I've never seen that webcam before! Very cool! I love the picture with the bear in the background....YIKES! Michigan does have some great wildlife. TONS of bears. Gaylord is probably just under 3 hours away from my city (Lansing), so we are quite close. :)

Kim: Sorry about your rough recovery time. No fun. But it will be well worth it when you reach the point where you see the final results! :thumbsup2

Good news the PRK has been sucessful, but sorry you have had problems. It must be a worry when it is your eyesight.

We can chat there in the box too!!! There is a message board as well.

I am so glad you are doing better after your PRK. I have been too nervous to do either surgery but you give me hope!!

Off to the airport now as I need to go back to Reno to pick up my car. We may go to Lake Almanor for a few days.

Talk to you guys later. Ciao for now.

I'm so excited! Remember a couple days ago a few people were talking about John Edward? I had mentioned that I haven't seen his show for a couple years because I can never find it anymore. Well, I FOUND IT today! I don't know how many times it's been on already, but it's on 6 more times this afternoon! All old episodes of course, but they're from last year, so I haven't seen them. :woohoo: :yay: So it looks like that's what I'm doing until it's time for kindergarten orientation. Be a couch potato, eat my dinner (yummy chicken fiesta wrap from McAllister's Deli), and just relax for a bit! :cloud9:
