Guess I'm still on hospital time coz I couldn't get to sleep....at the hospital they came in every hour on the hour 24/7. So I might as well get up and get my day started!

I went online and ordered a month's worth of Nutrisystem meals and got the Woman's Silver package. I got used to a full balanced and healthy diet for a couple of days at the hospital and decided to stick to it....way too much work to do it myself and I liked the idea of ordering and then it appears. So I'm going to try this out. Healthy, balanced meals, calories in check, arrives at the door....just nuke and eat.

Then as soon as these legs are healed, I'm on my ballet barre. It's a new dawn!

Well now that I've shipped off the dog down the road and out of the house...I have the cat to deal with. When the doggy is away...the kittie will play...she thinks she now owns the run of the house AND ME! Since getting home yesterday she hasn't left my side. She's up and down and all around me...all I keep doing is saying, No El, No El, Ella No! Unbelievable!:scared1: :sad2: :scared1:

Hello Ellaenchanted

Well I hope everyone has a bright and cheery hump day...I'm off to sort through the tons of mail that I have accumulated, both mine and mom's and have some coffee....liquid gold!:goodvibes :flower3: :goodvibes

Deborah - I read your thread about he sign interpreters - that was brilliant, and must have made the cruise much more enjoyable.

Great positive thinking there Deb - bet you can't wait to get some ballet exercises on the go.

We made the last payment on ours in July - and plan to drive it forever:thumbsup2

Totally agree - sometimes new is more important than good.

Though Meerkat Manor is now on Season 3 and those are new. :happytv: And great!! If you haven't seen it -its on every Friday on Animal Planet. The new episode is on at 8:30 and they rerun the previous episode at 8. I wouldn't recommend for small kids though as this is about the life and deaths so might be upsetting. (and as someone who was never allowed to watch Lassie because according to my mom I became inconsolable I wouldn't want to upset any kids)

I was reading this and chuckling to myself because when it first came out I watched it with dd who is 9 and going to be the zoologist of the family. We start watching it and the one meerkat gets bit by the rattlesnake, well im like I cant watch this and watch him die, thinking it would bother her too. So I go to change channel and shes says "oh mommy, its just nature".She loves the show and it doesnt bother her but I cant watch the little things get hurt:lmao:

I broke my ankle a few years ago and between the ER and being able to see the orthopedic surgeon was about 5-6 days. I was so paranoid everynight one of the cats would jump on my ankle I don't think I hardly slept. And it seemed like they were around me even more than normal. I think they sense something is wrong and want to stay close by to 'help'. (No Jasper was my favorite phrase that week ;) )

It was amazing he didn't die from the snake bite. But Shakespeare dissappearing between Season 1 and Season 2 was sad. We saw an episode on the cruise last year that was really interesting as we didn't realize the BBC version is different than the Animal Planet version. Sean Astin is the narrator on the Animal Planet version and Bill Nighy (Davy Jones from Pirates) is the BBC narrator.

That's great that your daughter wants to be a zoologist - are you planning on the San Diego zoo and/or Wild animal Park after the cruise? If you haven't been before she will love both!

Hi everyone, just popping in to say "HI". Been super busy with the boys back in school. I'm trying to keep up but boy, you guys have been chatty! I've also had my time taken up by "managing" my mom. She's very upset about the fires in Greece and is concerned for her family and property back there. She's not the type to ever be depressed and this has really gotten to her...I've never seen her like this and am not quite sure what to do make her feel better. It's just a disaster and hard to believe what's happening over there. :sad2:

Holly-sorry to hear about your tough times with Tyler. Hopefully it will settle down soon and your ex will get on the same page as you!

Noel-sorry to hear about your car and up coming surgery. Bad timing with the car!

Deb-glad your back online posting, sounds like you're on the road to recovery.

Everyone else-HI!!!!

Off to get the kids to bed!!
So sorry about how upset your mom is. It's awful to see somebody we love depressed. Although you might not know just what to say to her, know that you being there for her is a comfort in itself. It sure is an awful tragedy. I was sad watching the news about people who lost everything. :sad1:

Do you have pics to share of the boys going off to school on their first day?
 I know you were replying to LiserAnn, but it reminded me that I don't even have a camera anymore after losing it on vacation in June. :sad2: And my phone doesn't take great pics. Well, I guess there's an advantage to Tyler losing his privilege of signing up for the next hockey session: I can take that $120 and use it to buy a new camera. I saw a really cute pink Kodak easy share. Kodak is what I always buy because I just love the easy share features.

I downloaded these just now--just for you! ;) Hope their happy faces cheer your day!

Such sweet pics! Your little ones look like angels!

Good morning Marilyn!

I hope you have a lovely day!

Our systems are still down and DH has been working himself to death. I am very woried about his physical and mental health. He has been up all night and he just can't seem to figure out why our systems are not cooperating.:confused3

I hope that he will get a good night sleep and it will all come to him in the morning.:surfweb:

Karen
Your poor husband! I hope he gets things sorted out soon and can get some much needed rest. :goodvibes

Oh Karen, sorry to hear about your internet problem not getting sorted. It is so worrying when these husbands of ours stress and overwork with these issues. I feel for you both! He must have some time off though or he will be ill.

John has stress issues here too - high blood pressure, headaches, tiredness, high cholesterol(despite not smoking, drinking and eating a good healthy low animal fat diet). It was quite a shock for him. Fortunately our son is now in the business and John can begin cutting down a day soon. Like you, he can work on the business every evening on his computer, and also weekends either in work or not!! He says he wants more holidays!!! There again, they are the only time he switches off.

Please take care both of you, though I realise this internet problem needs to be sorted.
How nice that you son is in the business too. I hope John gets some time off soon! So many men are such hard workers.

I'M BACK......YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Here's how it goes:

Miss Mary Mack - Mack Mack
All dressed in Black - Black Black
With silver Buttons - Buttons Buttons
All down her Back - Back Back

She jumped so High - High High
She reached the Sky - Sky Sky
And she didn't come Back - Back Back
Til the 4th of July - Lie Lie

I LOVED playing that "game" when I was in elementary school.

 :cloud9:

Welcome back! :cool1: I hope you are feeling much better.

And thank you for 'Miss Mary Mack' from this Mary Mac. :)

I look forward to the live performance by Monica next May, unless she's too busy with Mr Tickle ......:lmao:

Heather, I had to laugh out loud because I can just picture Bethany saying that and her her voice and tone too! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Hmmm.....I think I better go find a place to weigh myself today. I found another pair of pants that falls down as I walk. All yesterday at work, I had to hitch my pants up every few steps! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Must have been a funny sight to see!

Gee, at this rate, I'll be able to eat TONS of Mickey bars on the cruise! :goodvibes :yay:

They've run out of Mickey Bars on the WB Transatlantic!! At the beginning apparently, and they are almost back!!!
