:thumbsup2 Yes I remember this one. We would sing it on the bus to summer camp.

And :grouphug: pixiedust: on your upcoming surgery Noel.

We sang the song at camp when I was kid and was one of my favorites. Thanks for the the hugs and thoughts about my upcoming surgery.

There was ten in the bed and the little one said, Roll Over Roll Over
So they all rolled over and one fell out
There was nine in the bed and the little one said, Roll Over Roll Over....
Until there was one in the bed and the little one said, Good Night!

This one was one of my favorites as I was the little one....but my version always ended up...."there was one in the bed and the little one said "ahhhh""

My sister & I talked last night...I also forwarded her the link that Marilyn had sent me about the MrMen. She said what I call "elastics" is also known as Chinese Jump Rope (?). No clue on that one. She remembered all of Miss Mary Mack...exactly as Noel typed it out (I'd forgotten about the elephants). The other one that we remembered (partially--we can't remember the beginning part) is:

(it deals with a baby drinking up the bath water, eating the soap, and trying to eat the bathtub)

Mother called the Doctor,
Mother called the Nurse,
Mother called the Lady with the Alligator Purse.

Mumps said the Doctor,
Measles said the Nurse,
Nothing said the Lady with the Alligator Purse.

Out went the Doctor,
Out went the Nurse,
Out went the Lady with the Alligator Purse.

Out went the water,
Out went the soap,
Out went the bathtub that was half way down his throat.

I don't know that one Monica.

How about this one.

Oh, the grand old Duke of York
He had 10,000 men
He marched them up to the top of the hill
And he marched them down again

And when they were up they were up
And when they were down they were down
And when they were only half way up
They were neither up not down.

Aren't they all a little daft really?:lmao:

Polly put the kettle on

Jack and Jill went up the hill

The Farmers in his den(This is really a party game for little ones)

Hi everyone, just popping in to say "HI". Been super busy with the boys back in school. I'm trying to keep up but boy, you guys have been chatty! I've also had my time taken up by "managing" my mom. She's very upset about the fires in Greece and is concerned for her family and property back there. She's not the type to ever be depressed and this has really gotten to her...I've never seen her like this and am not quite sure what to do make her feel better. It's just a disaster and hard to believe what's happening over there. :sad2:

Holly-sorry to hear about your tough times with Tyler. Hopefully it will settle down soon and your ex will get on the same page as you!

Noel-sorry to hear about your car and up coming surgery. Bad timing with the car!

Deb-glad your back online posting, sounds like you're on the road to recovery.

Everyone else-HI!!!!

Off to get the kids to bed!!

In the scheme of life, my gall bladder surgery seems to be small potatoes compared to some of the other life threatening illnesses others are suffering. I subscribe to the glass half full theory of life. As for the car, I was grateful that it broke down in a well traveled area with cell coverage.

Karen...hope your site is up and going smoothly soon. I know how frustrating that kind of stuff can be.

Lisa...what adorable boys you have! Can't wait to meet them.

Noel...glad the car trouble was easily handled and you lucked out in reno, how great!

Deb...sounds like you are much happier being at home and you must be healing well! Sorry to hear that you had to ship off the pup for a bit, but it is probably for the better.

Holly...hope Tyler has a great day at school today. Hang in there.

Hey DVCer's....

Guess I could pop over to the DVC discussion forum, but I am lazy:lmao: For those of you that own at resorts other than OKW, did you get a letter recently about extending the ownership for 15 more years? I just got one yesterday, but it only said OKW on it. Wasn't sure if it was a system wide extension of just OKW (which is where all of our points are). Any guesses on what that is going to cost? I would think they should just give it to us out of the kindness of their hearts:lmao: :rotfl2:

Quoting myself here....looks like it is $25.00 pp to extend for 15 years. I didn't see that in my letter at first. That is a lot of money to be asked about kind of out of the blue, at least for me. We don't have a ton of points, but still that would be an unexpected payment of over $10,000!

I'm not a DVCer, but I read earlier today on a UK board that it is just OKW and it is $25 per point or a $10 discount if you agree by a certain date. It brings it in line with other resorts' finishing dates.

Not that I understand of course!!:)

Welcome back! :cool1: I hope you are feeling much better.

And thank you for 'Miss Mary Mack' from this Mary Mac. :)

I look forward to the live performance by Monica next May, unless she's too busy with Mr Tickle ......:
lmao:

Ok - You SO made me laugh out load!!! The co-worker that sits in front of me even turned around to look at me! :rotfl: :lmao:

Well --- if Mr Tickle is single, and (preferrably) a Brit, Aussie or a really cute head server from the Wonder (from Italy - Simone)....I'm there!!! (and you wouldn't see all that much of me!!) :woohoo:

:rotfl: DrHug just got an email from our sweet DD about a SURPRISE 40th anniversary bash for us. OOPS! She forgot to delete Dad from her email group. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: So, I RSVP'd and told her we would be coming. :rotfl2: She was upset with herself at first, but we have talked and I have assured her that it is FINE not to be a surprise and that we will still be surprised by what "events" they come up with. ;)

I was looking at limo services from the port in Lax to DL and there are soooooo many. Anybody ever used one or using one this year?

What a sweet thing for your daughter to do! I hope she's not too bummed out by her oops! You're right....you'll still be surprised by how the actual even unfolds. :goodvibes

OMG guys- one day away and I missed another 15 pages or so.. and this is AFTER you guys said it would be quiet with V on vacation!

Holly- I’m so sorry about Tyler’s misbehavior :(

Deb- WELCOME HOME!!!

Count me in for drunk nursery rhymes.. any excuse to get me another DOD!

Noel- good luck with the gall bladder surgery. A friend of mine had it recently, and it wasn’t that bad at all. My grandmother had hers removed back in the 1980s and it was SO much more invasive back then! Now it’s two tiny incisions. I was supposed to have mine removed, but I keep avoiding the surgery.

Lisa- what great pictures of your sons!

I’m trying to figure out what Olivia and I can do together as a special lunch on our last day at WDW, but I’m kind of stumped. We’re already doing Crystal Palace for breakfast, which I know she’s going to love!
LOTS of work to get done today, and then I’m doing continuing education tomorrow (BLAH!).

Drunk nursery rhymes you say? I'm up for drunk ANYTHING right about now! This has been such an awful week. :sad2: I think I'll try to go to bed early tonight after Tyler's dad picks him up and hope that everything will look better in the morning.
