I'm usually reading something!

I never leave home without a book. You never know when you might get stuck somewhere so it's best to be prepared. (My co-workers tease me about this.)

I was shocked last year when I went for jury duty probably half the people i the room just sat there - no books, magazines, suduko, nothing! I even brought a back-up book in case I finished the first one.

This morning my mom fell just outside the doors at the check in desk.

Fortunately it wasn't a terrible fall, she has a bit of pain when she laughs and breathes deeply. We are going to see the doctor in the morning (she wasn't in today) and have to talk about a walker or cane to keep mom steady.

Tomorrow is her 80th bday. Saturday is the big suprise party, we have 55 rsvps so far. expecting another 5 or so.

Molly and I are on our own tonight, the boys went to the go-kart track. We're off to grab some dinner then a quite night at home.

Well, if you can get into Club 33, they serve a wonderful meal. We have a friend that has been able to get us a pass a couple of times. If interested, I can see what we can do.

Blue is fun, our girls love watching the boats from Pirates.

We really like Napa Rose. Always make reservations when we visit.

We have always wanted to go to Club 33! What is the secret to getting in?

Today I went to the state capitol to look up old issues of my hometown paper and find pictures, articles, etc. to print out for my class reunion. It was really interesting. I was there 3 hours and only got half done (I wanted to review all the papers from my senior year--don't worry, it's only a weekly paper!) so I guess I'll try to find time to come back down and finish.

Tonight I got to go see John Edward with my sister. We didn't get a reading but it was very good, nonetheless. I'm going to take my nephew to see POC AWE tomorrow (yes, it's still playing in a few theaters down here!) and then I'm OUTTA HERE! Gotta get back home where it gets below 95 at night!

I have my volunteer time at the Give Kids the World Village tomorrow from 9a-12n, then maybe will get some scrapbooking done. Need to do laundry and start planning what I'm packing to go see my parents in Argentina. I can't believe that I leave on Thursday!

Absolutely! There are just some weeks when it seems I am dealing with nothing but unreasonable people.....like a 45 minute rant because she waited 25 minutes for an appointment. They all just seemed that way this week and my patience was thin also. We have been dealing with alot ourselves the last couple of weeks and I know that makes it more difficult for me. Someone at work (in another department) said that it had seemed like a "full moon week", so I guess it was not just me. I'm off for 3 days though now and I am sure next week will be better.

It REALLY seemed like a "full moon week" to me too! Almost sent a customer out the door with wine in his face on Thursday night...

Saw a nice motorhome with a car in tow from Oregon as I went across the bridge this morning and thought of you! If you are planning a bay area trip, do let us know!

I should be taking a nap to take advantage of this short time off school, but decided to do dishes and laundry first. Clothes are washing in cold and I'm waiting for my pot of water on the stove to get hot so I can wash dishes in hot water. Too funny! After dishes and putting clothes in the dryer, I should mow. I haven't had to mow for at least a month, but we finally had rain (about 4 days worth), so the grass turned green and started growing again. I suppose I could wait until tomorrow because there are still a couple people in the neighborhood who haven't mowed yet. As long as I'm not the last to mow, it can go another day. Maybe I'll nap instead of mowing today. OR I suppose I could do both because the show at the comedy club doesn't start until 10:30pm and I doubt I'd be able to stay up that late without a nap!

Just down the road is the original Harry Ramsden's where I used to go on special occasions as a child - 45 or more years agol. They were still the best until the worldwide company took over. Where we go in Harrogate for the sit down ones they are jolly good, and the take out place are yummy too. We can't eat them often now as they contain a day's worth of calories!!!

We decided to buy two season tickets $1600 for 2 seats for 7 home games. Section F......I am excited. We found them on ebay. Decided on season tickets after seeing 2 tickets going for $400 for the first game.

Sounds like a deal to me! We pay 12500 for our 1st 5 tixs and then 7000 for our next 10. Thats why I can't afford a balcony!

I don't really know you, so let me introduce myself. I'm Lisa and I was very acitve on this thread and then family circumstances made me not post much is the last # of months. My plan for this cruise is for just me and my 18 year old son (who is at VA Tech) to cruise together. My DD11 and DD13 will still be in school. Today, I become an exchange mother (Vanessa is over the Atlantic right now, just tracked her flight) to a young lady (Vanessa) from Oslo Norway who is 17. Her mom is very sad and I know exactly what she is going though as I sent Daniel to Tech last week. I am having a very hard time with Daniel gone. We have gotten very good on AIM and that has helped a lot!!

So your team is ????? How big a fan are you? Where do you live and what does your family consist of? If you don't want to answer....I certainly understand.
