Haley did great on the potty training this week! I have to admit, I am a horrible parent, I hate those potty's you have to clean out, so big girl potty it is! Luckily the school has the miniature potty's.
Great job HALEY!!!!:cool1: :thumbsup2 :yay:

I like Dan Brown too, but I don't think I've read Mary Kaye Andrews stuff - will have to check her out.

I have a bunch of books I could SHIP to the MAGIC for the Cove Cafe - I'm always giving Jackie books to take to her workplace - they do an exchange in their kitchen. Maybe I'll start this when we move to our new building (soon I hope) that would be a nice thing. One of the officers of the company gave me that book about the kids that fly - sorry cannot remember the name of it. They were hybrid birds... does anyone know what I'm talking about.???:rolleyes1

I don't know about you, but I am the type if I start a book and I like it I read, read, read til I am through. My mom is the same way where as my sister wants me to read her a chapter as she is going to sleep!

I do too - as long as I don't get interrupted or too sleepy...

My whole family loves to read! I think it's because our Mom read to us... my sisters are better about it than I - but then I have more interruptions as I mentioned. My dogs even get into the act if I'm reading for too long, or on the computer for that matter. I start to get "sassed" by Faith - I one day will have to take a photo of her little face sassying me.

That reminds me, I better break out that new camera and get it tried out - in case it doesn't work I'll need to take it back to Costco.

Get to go home soon!!! Only a few more minutes.

I too love to cook, I'm just not feeling that great - still having tummy issues from Wednesday. I love to watch cooking shows - it gets me all fired up to try stuff.
OH - Jackie I have CAKE at home... I broke down and baked last night even though it's 110 out side!!!!

I can't wait for fall - I love to make lasagna and cheese cake!:hourglass

I think someone asked but yes I love The Memory Keeper's Daughter as well although I cried at that too!

What's the name of the book and the author about the PC? Thanks!

I cannot remember - except that Jackie wanted to buy it for my DH - something about inbetween seas or something...:rolleyes1

That's funny, my sister loves my baked goods - which usually comes out of a box, but I swear she asks for my cupcakes and cakes all the time!!

and I'll come over - cheesecake is my all time fav!

CAKE???? CAKE???? Is is CHOCOLATE?????

And I love to EAT your lasagna and cheese cake! :thumbsup2

OK....guess I'd better pack up my desk (the phone has not rung since 3PM....love summer Fridays) and head on home. Gotta find a STEAK then head to Peg's for CAKE! :lmao:

I can't sleep!!! 1.22am here!!

No, I really was reading in the bathroom (but while doing something else). I had to hurry up with the other business because like you said, I didn't want to be left sitting in the bathroom with no house left around me! :rotfl2: I shouldn't laugh about it, but just the mental picture cracks me up! :rotfl:

In the film Jurassic Park a guy was on the loo when the dinosaur demolished the building!! He wasn't very lucky afterwards.:scared1:

Well done Haley- you're a star.:cutie:

have we gone through our usernames yet? Most are pretty obvious...

lillygator.....my two dogs, unfortunately Lilly (Lilly Ann Tiffany as my sister dubbed her) passed away and Gator is hanging in there - she is her pup, but over 10 years old.

I use lillygator anywhere I have to register or if it is taken gatorlilly.

DCL room service always has a cake of the day!

That is one of the first things I noticed about DCL!!!:rotfl2:

My username, which I have tried to get changed but can't is part Grandma, and Maz, being the only ever nickname I have ever had. I soon began to realise that having Gran at the front of a username would give a certain image in folks' minds. But heyho too late now!

Holly- glad you guys made it through the tornado. My family is in Detroit this weekend, and they had tornado watches tonight too.
Hope you’re having fun at the show now!

Poor Tom- passing a stone HUUUURTS!

Gydell- the book about the PC is “A Path Between the Seas” by David McCullough. I took it out from the library so I could read it again!

Olivia and I are watching the travel channel, which has on the Disney shows again. We’ve seen them a hundred times, but Olivia will sit and watch them every time!

My username is obvious—It’s just my name!

Goodnight again! 2.17 am and I am still wide awake.:sad2:

Wonder what I will do on the cruise if I have a bad night.:confused3

My user name was my sorority pledge class name, long before I got into visiting Disney. All the girls were named after a Winnie the Pooh character, found out later when I became vp of membership, that I was the girl with the top member vote and that was why I was given Poohbear as my tag.
