As long as you can continue to find your way to 8016, and wine tasting, etc. then you'll be fine!!

I am usually excellent with directions (not sure why) and will meet you and bring you to the cabin if need be!!

Karen

It's so nice to have such good friends...I can just see it now, someone will see me in walking around the ship and ask, where are you going and I'll tell them and then they'll say, it's the other way....:upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow

YES, I must find 8016 coz we NEED wine and champagne!!!!
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Karen: will you provide the "designated driver" service on the 11/10/07 Eastern?

We are on that cruise with you as well.

Woody

How cool!!! We'll be on the 10/28/07...missed you by a week or so....
:woohoo: :cutie: :woohoo:

We're only 90 miles from DL so we go about once a month. Of course 90 miles could mean threee hours to get there!

We're hoping to get on the Nemo sub ride. I'll be sure to take pictures!

I can't wait to ride the Nemo sub ride....you'll have to tell us all about it!!!
:yay: :cheer2: :yay:

That sounds lovely. How fab to be able to take walks that allow you to see dolphinsand seals.

I've had that link for some time and it can be very interesting. Try the grouse bear cam too. The bears woke up a few weeks ago from hibernation. I, and a few others watched them go into hibernation!

Somehow I think Deb will find her way to your room for the wine!!!:rotfl:

YES, YES....have wine....will find you!!!!:cutie:  :cutie:

Just wanted to say 'hi' to you all and thanks to everyone for their messages of concern and sympathy. It's lovely to feel you have so many friends...even ones so far away. Thanks especially to Maz, Deb, Karen & Carolyn for all your kind words...and to John for the great e-card!

I promise I'll try and get my 'sparkle' back soon Deb!

I can't even attempt to read back all those pages but I hope everyone is doing well.

xxx:grouphug:

Oh angel....it's soooooo great to see you on here.....you just do what you can when you can and don't worry about past stuff....we'll keep you up to date on the good stuff. We're more concerned about you and getting you feeling better. Big Hugs and Lots of Love....my good friend!!!!

How long are you staying at the Redondo Beach for Deb?

One week...we decided that since we have never been to CA and probably won't have another opportunity like this....we wanted to make the most of it. So we'll check in on Sun 5/25 and check out on Sun 6/1, then we'll fly back. Giving us a total of 24 nights (including two nights in Cocoa Beach before cruise), plus one travel day on both ends....26 days of vacation....luckily John has lots of vacation time on his job. After that, he won't want to go back!
 :lmao:

Thanks Marilyn.
I'm trying to stay positive today....doesn't help that I managed to fall all the way down the stairs on Friday (tripped over the wretched cat in the middle of the night!)!!!! So now I have lots of bruises to add to the rest of my woes...and a very sore butt!

....that darn cat....sure, what does she care.....she has 9 lives, but what about you???

How about you Marilyn, have you decided how long you'll stay in CA after cruise? Have you decided where in CA you'll stay? Are you going to do DL?:goodvibes :cutie: :goodvibes

Hey! Lisa! I just tried to PM you, but your box is full and you are not able to accept any messages. I'd love to help out with the Fish Groups. I'll be able to do any day you need. I'm in stateroom 7638.

Connie:hippie:

Brooklyn (a.k.a. Stephanie) asked to join a group so I already put her into group 1. But TiggersPal - if you want to join that group too, I'm sure that would be great! Or we can think about starting a new day. We still need some team leaders and teams for other days, but I know we have lots of time!
Lisa

Holly, did you have fun at Sea World yesterday??? What are you doing today??? Inquiring minds want to know!!!:surfweb:  :surfweb:

Hi Connie, you live in Orlando....how lucky for you...that's got to be the best place in the world to live!!!! How often do you get to see the mouse???:thumbsup2 :goodvibes :thumbsup2

At the moment we are planning DL for 4 nights. Really we don't have any time to make a longer car trip to SF. John is not thrilled with the idea of DL, but we have never been, and if we get to California again, and we hope to in 2009, then we can do everything else and miss DL! Only problem of course is that it is Memorial Day!

We wouldn't take a hire car so that would save some dollars.

Our other problem is getting home from there, but we are favouring flying back to Orlando, staying at the Hyatt Airport for a night and then taking our return flight home from there. A waste of a day I know, but it saves us using a shuttle up from London (and a long wait at Heathrow Airport) which we would have to do if we fly back from LA.

Complicated!

We have a Cat 11, have sailed always without balcony - so we can cruise more often! - We have done 10 days and spent our little bit of downtime at the Cove Cafe playing SkipBo.

I like to play Skipbo, but I don't like to hang around the Cove Cafe, it's always smoky.

That sounds like a good plan....don't worry about John, after the cruise, he won't care where he is. Don't worry about Memorial Day since you're staying 4 nights, it will only be crowded on Sun/Mon, it should be better Tues/Wed. Maybe we could meet up and do something together in DL and that should make it more fun for John.

This is always good, saving some money.

I would probably do the same exact thing. Much better to fly back to Orlando, take a night over in the hotel, then travel home fresh and easy. Remember you'll be carrying bags at that point, don't want to drag them around the Heathrow Airport and shuttle.

Complicated!

I think you've worked it out just fine!:yay: :dance3: :yay:

So DH John and I were talking over coffee this morning and we decided how many bags to pack and how much to take with us. We decided to only bring seven days worth of clothing for the three weeks and do some laundry. !:yay: :rotfl2: :yay:

:laundy: I wish there was a SMILIE for packing! We just got back from the Transatlantic and then a 12 day Med. cruise on Carnival......my DH read me the riot act on packing.......too much of this, too many of that! I wore EVERY PIECE of my clothes, and I will agree with him that I over packed t shirts and "good" clothes for him and our son, since DH wouldn't wear most of the "nice" clothes I packed. AND they don't need more than 7 pairs of socks and underwear, my DH will do :laundy: any time!

My big problem on this trip was that we took the airbed just in case the extra bed was uncomfortable....well they were good on both ships, so that was a wasted piece of luggage. BUT we do need all kinds of extra stuff for DS Patrick, since he's disabled; his wheelchair, his backpack, his bedrail, his computer, the sling to lift him from the floor if he falls (which he didn't do at all this past month!), his mp3 player, etc. ANd of course I NEED my camcorder and digital camera! Also all these things need chargers!

Next trip you will see us in the same 2 outfits the WHOLE time......:dance3: :lmao: Reminder to self: only 2 pairs of shoes! Only the MOST comfy! Wear stretch sandals to dinner!
But what about PIRATE NIGHT?pirate: AND FORMAL NIGHT? :groom: ANd FANTASY NIGHT?princess: :wizard: :mickeyjum

Oh, well, I have 11 months to think about it! :rotfl2:

Well it is almost bed time for us.

Hope you are having had a great time Orlando Holly.

See you tomorrow.

I see you are from N. Yorkshire. We have been there several times. Where are you from , exactly? We've been to *****tone, Durham, York, and the Penines. It's a beautiful part of the country. Connie
