Great! Mrs. Woody and I walked six miles on Saturday, and six miles on Sunday. We are training for the Disneyland Half Marathon.

Deb: On Saturday we walked past your post-cruise hotel -- the Redondo Beach Crowne Plaza. It's right across from the marina, with lots of great restaurants nearby. Get an ocean view room if you can.

From there, we walked to the Hermosa Beach pier and saw dolphins and sea lions. Priceless!

It's a live streaming camera at an actual waterhole at a game reserve in Africa. They are 10 hours ahead of Calif. time. So about 8 or 9 here is early morning there and a good time to watch. We have seen elephant, rhino, lions, zebra, baboons, monkeys, giraffe and much more. Very cool and addicting!

I've had that link for some time and it can be very interesting. Try the grouse bear cam too. The bears woke up a few weeks ago from hibernation. I, and a few others watched them go into hibernation!

As long as you can continue to find your way to 8016, and wine tasting, etc. then you'll be fine!!

I am usually excellent with directions (not sure why) and will meet you and bring you to the cabin if need be!!

Good morning Bubba, You and I are almost never on at the same time so I have to seem like I am a bit slow. My work /school computer will not allow the flash player to run.I am going to try and set it up on my laptop and see what I get. sounds like one of those places that I could sit and "watch out the windows" instead of this concrete box I sit in now. thanks for the link

Though there are so many pages there have been no major changes. Two groups have cancelled their cruise - Tahoe and another I have forgotten at the moment. There are a few new groups joined us.

No new groups to join on the cruise or lists to be added to.

I'm trying to stay positive today....doesn't help that I managed to fall all the way down the stairs on Friday (tripped over the wretched cat in the middle of the night!)!!!! So now I have lots of bruises to add to the rest of my woes...and a very sore butt!

I sometimes think cats do that on purpose. Ours used to sit on the stairs and swipe at you when you went past! Mind you that is much better than tripping you up.

Totally agree about the on purpose bit - luckily we have no stairs!

My sister is currently sporting a large bandage on her foot from where she went to step over a cat who decided to move and attacked her foot.

The 52 out of East County San diego is the problem - though I think the 3rd lane has been finished and is finally open so that should help. We are leaving later this Friday to hopefully avoid the rush hour traffic.

What a nice day you had...I checked again this weekend to book, I have to wait 50 weeks from day of departure.....so I can probably do it this coming weekend....and I'm definitely going to have a direct oceanfront room. It has a balcony, which is where I'll be the whole time we're in the room.

We will have to go to the Hermosa Beach pier and look for the dolphins and sea lions. Such a thrill!!! How great for you and Mrs. Woody to have that right in your neighborhood.

I'm so glad I have this to look forward to after cruise, so I won't be as sad getting off the boat. Thanks Woody!!!
