John where was this info 4 months ago....it would have been a life saver in our house, or at least a weekend saver....I have to admit I felt a bit guilty after seeing the after effects of snip snip. But now we rest peacefully knowing no more oops! Our first was an oops, but a wonderful one at that


Noel, that whole thing just bites. I would expect that they would at a minimum comp your treatments for that day and some in the future. Cool off then decide that there are other spas to visit for next time.

I'm going to fiddle around in the next few days to get Hong Kong Disney planned. The tour company was having a hard time getting us home on the date we wanted so it looks like we have only 2 days there.... 4th of July (hee hee, kinda funny huh, 4th of July in Hong Kong, not much of a big deal there I bet) and then our flight home is on the 6th, so no time to enjoy Hong Kong itself, but we figured that will be another trip. I'm sure it will be great, besides it's Disney so what's not to love

So here I am at home again and finally calm enough to tell you all what happened. As you may remember, I went for a Fiji wrap on Sunday night. After the wonderful experience, I returned to my locker in the spa to discover over $700 in cash and change missing from my wallet. The casino security staff denied there were any problems with theft in the spa.

Much to my consternation, I discovered in conversation with the spa staff and regular customers that it seems that the keys work in more than one locker and that fact is know by regular spa members and employees. Obviously, this theft was committed by someone who knew this and used another key. Another woman lost about the same amount last week in the same locker room probably by the same method.

I made a police report but of course, I am now out the $700. Since this took place at a casino I go frequently, I know many of the staff and the regulars. I expected at least some sort of apology about what had happened but nothing was forthcoming. Needless to say, I am not sure if I am every returning to this spa.

Now back to my regularly scheduled life....

That is really bad! I once opened another locker at my gym by mistake but the key fit!! I mentioned it but.......!!! An apology was needed I think and not good you didn't receive one. I doubt you will see your money again I'm afraid.

Hope this works. Just returned from Las Vegas and saw this swimsuit on the front of the catalog. Ordered it for our upcoming Western cruise in October. Hopefully it will still fit next May for Panama.

That suit looks fab and I'm jealous if you can fit i nto that and look good. I have only ever worn a bikini on 2 holidays. Once in Italy, but only lying down sunbathing, and once a few years ago when I had lost a lot of weight and had a very private balcony so nobody could see me! Id did feel lovely and airy though. Now nearing 60 I most definately would not be a good sight.

Hi Everyone, I have just received a quote for this sailing. I have never cruised before and I really want to go with DCL. As you can see I am reserved for this Oct but I am thinking of changing my ressi. I am from Western Canada ( Alberta ) and my DH does not want to cruise so I will be going solo. Do you think this will be too long of a cruise for a first timer?
TIA for any advice. I did see on the first page that there are other solo cruisers.

Hello and welcome. I think there are one or two other solo cruisers on here. I think this group is so friendly you will only be solo if you want to be!

Tooth is gone, stopped at the grocery for yogurt, pudding, ginger ale and cottage cheese. Had a nice little happy pill and slept most of the afternoon. I can have 'real' food tomorrow and decided lasagna would make a nice softish meal for lunch. The oral surgeon though I was wacked when I started laughing as he was pulling the tooth. I told him (afterwards of course) that I was envisioning a champagne bottle being opened as he 'wiggled' the tooth and 'popped' it out! I guess I am a true Champagne Girl!

A good excuse for spoiling yourself with puddings and nice things!! Love the Champagne cork popping!!!

Good evening everyone! DH and I are feeling ill tonight. The baby was throwing up all weekend, and now I'm afraid we're getting it! I'm soooo tired.

It sure is hard to get started again! I ended up not going to the gym. Decided to get my back yard mowed. Took forever because the mower kept getting clogged and I'd have to re-start it. My arm almost couldn't pull the cord anymore to start the mower towards the end of the job. That was almost a workout in itself!

Yep, the hoodie was $43 and they have a matching crop pant coverup for $28. Snagged all the above in addition to the bikini.

I bet there will be lots of them on the cruise...I thought about ordering too...it is just toooooo cute!

Well the count down is on...only two more work days and then Saturday finish packing and cleaning house before we leave Sunday am...I can't wait!

I just CAN'T believe they won't reimburse you!! That is just crazy. I would be so mad. I know all the warnings they post about not being responsible but the ASSUMPTION is that you are using a unique key. That is a very reasonable assumption. I think the casino should reimburse you b/c of that fact. Crazy - so sorry to hear that. My purse got stolen from the gym and they gave me a gift certificate to get a new one. It is good will! Boy, will they lose out by not having your business. Lisa

There are ABSOLUTELY no signs posted about not being responsible for items left in the lockers. If any place you would think you would be safe from thefts is a casino spa with all of the "eyes" in the sky. They have definitely at this point lost my good will and trust.

I'm sure it will be great!! Before DCL announced 08 schedule we were hoping for something in that part of the world. (We're happy with PC but man that would have been something!) Maybe one of the new ships!

We're definitely going to want a TR and lots of pics!!!!

I think that is very sound advice. Since there are many, many wonderful spas in this area, I really don't need to go to Reno for treatments, it just has been an added bonus.

This is just what is happening at this spa. At the very least if I had received an apology, I don't think I would be as upset. I think you are right about the money situation. Sigh......
