If people learn about the keys opening more than one locker they will just go around trying until they can open one.

I think that is just what happened. Well, lesson learned. Don't take anything valuable to a spa!!

There are ABSOLUTELY no signs posted about not being responsible for items left in the lockers. If any place you would think you would be safe from thefts is a casino spa with all of the "eyes" in the sky. They have definitely at this point lost my good will and trust.

Noel,

I am thinking (hoping) that they do not employ those "eyes" in the sky in a spa locker room. If they do, do you think they would admit it?

I do, however, agree with you and everyone else on the situation. Someone is definitely asleep at the switch of customer service. Have you considered writing a letter to them? I know it works here - especially for good customers!

I would suspect that they do not have "eyes" in the sky in the locker room for if they did can you imagine the lawsuits? I am thinking about writing a letter to the casino. Any suggestions to whom I should address the letter and what I should ask for as recompense?

Exactly my point . . .

I don't know enough about casino operations to tell you who- but go as high up as you can.

I would of course restate my long relationship and the $$$ I spend there, and I would ask for what I lost - no less, and see what their response is. I would also restate how shabbily I was treated by their staff.

I forget - did you file a police report? If not, tell them you are considering filing a report - usually a public record, and they may not want to see that in the paper.

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the input. Yes, I did file a Reno police report with the security staff. Now, if they turn that it to the Reno police is another story. Perhaps I should call the Reno police department.

I will follow your advice and address a letter to the casino asking to be reimbursed for the full amount. I am going to call this morning and get the name of the general manager. Hopefully, he will be the correct person to who to address the letter.

Thanks again for your thoughts.

Noel, John's ideas sound like a good plan. I sure hope you're able to get some resolution from the situation. Please keep us updated.

Looks like Tropical storm Andrea is headed to Orlando. Boo.....hiss.....boo. :sad2: Sorry for anybody headed to WDW.

Well, we're back home now. Had a wonderful day on Monday meeting Donna and her husband Charlie for drinks. Donna is our real estate agent and now a good friend. I have a few more pics to share.

Holly, look what I found for only $5995, I could have this on my front lawn.

Hi Deb. That looks a lovely place you have just visited. It looked quiet and a little on the cool side, but that can be lovely.

I think I am putting it on my list of places for our June 2008 trip. It fits in well with my very very tentative plans. Fly into Atlanta and visit with friends from near there and do some sightseeing. Then move on to Virginia and tour some interesting spots - there does seem to be many. From there probably over to the West somewhere as we can always get cheaper flights to NYC, Washington, Boston some other time.

Look at me?!!:rotfl: Planning our 2008 trip and I have 2 big trips and a few smaller ones before then!:rotfl2:

Just received our MVMCP tickets today. Took just 2 days to get here from the US. Our own post can't even manage that much of the time.:confused3 I am playing around with ideas for ADR's to be made at the end of the month. We have room only rate at the moment but may change to a package with the DP if a good one comes available. I want to have the ADR's booked just in case. They can be cancelled.

Yes, we had a bit of a cold spell while we were there, beautiful and warm on the day we arrived and left....isn't that always the way. Anyhow, it sounds like you have been a busy beaver getting all those ressies booked. It's time now, we can do so too....guess that's how I'll be spending my day today....it's so much more fun than unpacking!:surfweb:  :surfweb:

I hope you feel to have had a good break and have recharged your batteries.

GREAT pics Deb! Thanks for posting them! I absolutely LOVE the turtle, but would much rather spend that money on a cruise! :rotfl2: I'm going to try to remember to show the picture to Tyler because he really likes turtles too, ever since visiting the sea turtle farm on Grand Cayman in Sept. '05.

Once again, can you tell how hard I'm working at work today? :rotfl: :rotfl:

That's what I said too, I love turtles, but I would much rather be on a DCL cruise....Hope Tyler likes it! We went to the same turtle farm on Grand Cayman in Sept. 06. I loved it there. I got to hold a turtle and I was so thrilled. Good memories!:cool2: :flower3: :cool2:

Does anyone know what the dates are for MVMHP? I see that a lot of you are doing the MVMCP and already have your tickets...where did you go to get them. Are they online at the WDW site? I won't be there for Christmas, but I will be there for Holloween this year and have never been to the party, but I hear a lot about how great it is...just wondering...:wizard: :goodvibes :wizard:

Wonderful pics!! Wouldn't that be a kick to have that turtle in your back yard?

Sounds like you guys had a fun trip!!
