Marilyn:

Glad to hear John's mum was doing better than expected. I don't know which one is official logo either!!

We are having a relaxing morning here also just watching tv (How the west was won) and both of us typing on our notebook computers in bed. There are a bunch of Disney travel logs on the Travel Channel that we are going to watch later.

Noel

:surfweb:

That sounds like a lovely lazy Sunday. What did we do before laptops?

Funny to think that we will be in bed at the other end of our day in about 3 hours!!! We're tired after the driving(well John drove) and of course the time there is not the most exciting of times.

I love that! :woohoo: I'm so embarrassed though...I always thought the Pottery Barn was a shop that sold pottery and china!:confused3 :rolleyes1

more great ideas for our CG tiaras!:cool1:

Can I come live there too Karen?;) :woohoo:

It's beautiful Deb...actually I do have one I wore for my wedding....here's a pic....Mark's Mum makes jewelery so she made it specially....

Mandy, that's awesome...you look beautiful too in your tiara. Didn't you just love wearing it! We're such girly girls. :cutie:

Think that's our last night so should be ok...there are 11 of our family going to be in WDW so I must check!:thumbsup2 Absolutely! We do have lots of time ... six months before we have to know. Especially, if you're there with others. We'll be seven traveling together...but John and I can steal away for a while because we'll have the car rental and can go where we want. We'll see what happens as the date gets closer.;) :goodvibes

yes! Me!:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 I think everyone likes this idea best!

Just had the most brilliant idea.....:woohoo:

I've just seen on the DCL site that the Eastbound transatlantic repo cruise on May 12th is selling cat 12 staterooms for $999!!!!!!!! That's for 14 nights too!

Now then, we cruise with DCL on the 5th May for 7 days and are due to fly home on the 12th May..........can you see where this is leading?...... ;)

I think it would be a MUCH better idea, rather than fly home, for us to get back on board and bring that lovely ship across the ocean to Europe....don't you?? :rolleyes1

Mark has just said 'NO'.....but he has to go to work....and I don't!!!!! :rotfl:

Well....what do you guys reckon? (or do you think this would lead to divorce?):rolleyes1 ;)

Oh dear, what a dilemma! Whenever I suggest something like that to DH, he always says yes! Guess I'm lucky for that. I don't know what I would do in your situation...on the one hand it's a great idea and a better way to travel back, on the other hand if DH says no...would I do it without him??? I'm not so sure???:rolleyes1

I think we need a mid category of Champagne Girls - those who would like a little taste? I do like an odd glass, but don't want to end up:rotfl2::headache:  So, I would love to taste them, and I seem to remember, in passing, others who might like to too.

I think that's a good idea...we can ask the non-tasters if they fall into the category of some or none. I think you might find that most fall into the "some" category.:hippie:

me too, I want to be a champagne girl, but I hate champagne!! just a sip every now and again is good for me.....or, won't we need DISignated walkers to get all you bubbly girls back to your rooms?!

If it was dark, it almost sounds like cold duck, but I don't think that they would have that on the ship. If it is a lighter color, then it might be the Banfi Rose Regal, which I will definitely be bringing copious amounts of on the ship!!

Karen

Banfi Rose Regal sounds like it, I will get some and try it. It should be cold....right??

Oops!! I hit send to soon!!

Here are the pics!!

Sorry!

Karen

How nice!! My house is VERY SMALL, 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. Not too much to clean!! We are three blocks from the ocean...a very short walk. Houses on the ocean here are 4-5 million!!

TRAVEL CHANNEL TODAY; ALL DISNEY

Don't know if you all saw the thread on this, but the travel channel is doing a mess of their Disney stuff today (resorts/parks/DCL). I hear the DCL show is the old one 'tweeked' with new stuff (and old stuff...ESPN Zone...deleted).

Check your local listings.....

Been watching this!! I have not been to Disneyland for a very long time and it sure looks different than I remember. I am going to my brother's house for dinner...have to be home by 8pm (for DCL) or watch TV at his house!!

I'm thinking some of 'our girls' who don't like 'champagne' are going to change their minds once they try a sip of Rosa Regale ::yes:: :thumbsup2

Last night I decided the perfect meal is a glass of Rosa Regale, a mediterranean chicken/fruit salad entree with strawberries dipped in dark chocolate for dessert...with ANOTHER glass of Rose Regale. Now, could somebody come make that for me?

.....time to go turn on the Travel Channel....

Ever since I heard about this wine I have been wanting to try it! I believe it goes well with the chocolate dipped strawberries!!!:)

Please help me guys.

DD13 is still sick in FL on field trip. Teachers do not wnat me to come get her??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

She can't talk, she can't sleep.....says she doesn't want to come home. No teacher has called me.....they haven't taken her temp....

I want to get on a flight NOW and go get her.

Do I just go?

I am totally crazy, so I would. My DH would say wait until she says she needs you.

I would like to formally request an upgrade to the "some" category ("some" meaning "one sip" of each kind). Thanks!!:goodvibes

She sounded so terrible this morning.....she was crying and saying she felt horrible. The teachers talked her into trying to stay anyway. Advil...Tylenol....she said okay she felt better.

11:30am...she called crying ....fever 104.....I got my husband on a flight from Dulles (glad we live 10 minutes away) at 12:41...takes off in about 2 minutes. I need to rent a car for him and then he can drive right to the Busch Gardens Health Center.....that is pretty cool.....so she does not need to walk at all.

Back to airport catch a 6:15 flight back home and in her bed at 8:30pm.

I feel so much better that I know she is on her way home.

Please pray for my husband and Annie......

Now on my way to the doctor with 2nd DD. She smashed her finger in te car door last night and we tried to treat it with ice and meds......she need to be seen...soonest for her was 2:30pm today. I think it must be a broken thumb.

okay, please pray for Gretchen as well.....

When it rains it pours

Take Care!!! How awful!

I thank that's a scathingly brilliant idea! ::yes::

love that...'scathingly brilliant'.....:thumbsup2 must tell Mark that!

Well, I caught up on here, then went to my other boards, now I can relax!

Hope you are all having a good Sunday. Our trip down to see John's mum went better than we expected and she is doing quite well. Nice to be home though.

I saw a different Champagne Girls logo so copied that and now have 2!!! Not sure which is the official one, but they look GOOD!:) :) :)

Glad John's Mum was better Maz, where does she live?

How about the 'champagne sippers' for you girls?;) :cool1:

JOIN US!!!! Book a 12. People are getting very good upgrades and the 3 & 4 person is $99 plus tax. Of course, it does appear that the ones with 4 are just getting upped to a cat 11, but the 2 & 3s are getting 9 & 10. We got a cat 9!!!! And if you can manage a train or a cheap flight home, why not??? We could have an unofficial pre-WB Repo cruise champagne girls meet!!!

OMG I soooooo want to do this! trouble is our flights are booked abd paid for and we'd lose the money.....:guilty:

Oh and did I mention POC At Worlds End PremiEAR on board?????popcorn::

ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh.......you're really tempting me now....:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 I think everyone likes this idea best!

great...deb, we'll definately do something and meet you and the others....it'll just be us two I think as the rest of the gang will be doing their own thing I expect!;):) As you say, we have plenty of time! We have to sort our MNSSHP tickets out too.....:cool1:

Thing is, I know if I really begged Mark he'd say yes...but he wouldn't be able to come as he has to get back to work....and I'm not sure I could do it without him......:sad2: what a conundrum!.......:sad1:

love that...'scathingly brilliant'.....:thumbsup2 must tell Mark that!

Well, I stole it from Haley Mills! I think it was from The Parent Trap. I know I've been using it since about 5th grade, so the timing would be right. I was (I guess I still am) a HUGH Haley Mills fan...as many of the pre-teen girls of my generation were.

afternoon, or early evening everyone!
We got back around 3:30 - probably when John1, Amy and Sophie were taking off. Had a great time...wish we could have stayed longer. I am still amazed at making friends over the internet...I mean, obviously friends, who like different teams and can still speak....(Johnny is not great at that...) and even whom I feel great just being around and not having to worry about conversation...--sorry I was so quiet!!---
Here are some pictures..

so John1 and 2 left the women folk in charge of the youngin's for some "competative" volleyball. At least that is what John2 told me later...Competative volleyball with a lifesize beach ball? Nice...

we've never stayed here before, only dined, but my goodness....it has so many places just to sit and well, sit or visit or do what ever....very very nice and relaxing.
