V that's so awesome.....I'm soooooooooo jealous of you that you got to do what you love in HS......I didn't discover that I loved dance until I was in NYC and a friend took me to a Jazz class. I fell so hard. Then I studied my butt off.....I did ballet and Jazz for a couple of years with 2 classes a night after work and a 5 hour class on Sat.....then I burnt out and paced myself to 3 classes a week.
I never got to do pointe, but love it and I love lyrical and love musical theatre. I was in an off off off broadway show that a friend wrote and directed when I was in the city and I did a couple of dance productions with my dance studio at the time. It's my passion in life too.
When you get out there and perform again, you let me know because I want to be there to see you.....John and I will make the trip down.
Me, I would love to open a dance studio and hire people to teach and then put on performances and I could take classes everyday all day long and do shows. I would love that. Maybe when we get to Delaware. That's my goal.
When DH and I were in high school we were in theatre. Only we didn't act he did lights and I did fly. Every summer he still does Lighting design for a local theatre group. He loves it and I enjoy watching. I could never act, I can't sing or dance. I tried dance one time and blew my knee out. Never did it again plus I am very clumsy.
