I just reprinted all the excursions for John....we have only hit Cabo so far....of course he checked the sport fishing and zip line and Los Arcos cruise. (we are only talking on commercials from the game, go figure!)

When you pay for a day price, do they also give you a room for the day? They have a AAA rate of $135. It would cost us $60 if we did the day rate price, but I do like having a room to take a quick shower before going back on the boat - especially the kids since they will have sand everywhere!! I checked out the Sheraton in Cabo - that looks nice. The one in PV has two swim-up bars! My kids love swimming up to the bar and asking for a shirley temple!

I think if they don't respond to our occasional shout out, then we can take them off. What do you think? I would think if they aren't on the boards anymore, even if they are coming they might have decided not to get involved with DIS. I know for my July 2005 cruise, I chatted a bit but never did anything with DISers because I was with a very big group and it would have been a little complicated. I'm looking forward to doing more activities this time - especially Palo's, Bunko, and champagne tasting!! Lisa

I don't expect anyone to post and I know there are many on this cruise who have tons of stuff going on, but I do think they could just answer a pm and let us know they are going or not.

We'll probably have to do that....I don't know of any other way to do it.....and you're right, maybe they don't want to be included for whatever personal reasons.

Yes, I think it is fair enough to take anyone off the list who doesn't answer the PM as it would appear they aren't too interested anyway. If they come back latger then they can just be added again.

We've pretty much settled our excursions. We wanted to have it firmed up mostly for budgeting reasons. I still can't get over how expensive everything is! Anyway, here's our list:

CC - hang out on the beach, maybe rent bikes, etc.

Aruba - as much as DH and I would love to jeep it with the DIS group, my DS really wants to do the semi-sub excursion so we're all doing the "Sea and See Island Tour". (It's all about the kids - HA HA.)

Acapulco - cliff divers (not through DCL) and something else, not sure what. Love to do the beach but not sure where?! I've never been to Aca so I'm not sure how near/far everything is.

PV - DH, DS6 and DS9 will do the sea lion encounter and since DH can't do the zipline because of his wrist surgery, I'll be doing the Outdoor Adventure with Kaylee and Scott. It's been a long time desire for me to do a zipline so DH said "go for it"!

Cabo - going to the beach at "The Office", renting lounge chairs and an umbrella. Later in the day we'll rent jet skis and have fun with the boys in the water.

Has anybody looked at the water park in PV? That's where we are headed so we can swim with the sea lions and then play the rest of the day!

Sounds good...is the Office on Medano Beach? We will hang out there somewhere...I read all the restaurants are kind of in a row and you can pick which one you like, etc.

I would say take them off. What else can we do?! It seems like some people come on like gang busters and then disappear without saying anything. If you wait the appropriate amount of time, then I see no reason why they shouldn't come off, especially if they don't answer you!

If they don't post but they let Deb know that they are still coming then ok. It makes it hard planning for the fish gifts if you don't know about how many are still going.

Sounds good...is the Office on Medano Beach? We will hang out there somewhere...I read all the restaurants are kind of in a row and you can pick which one you like, etc.

Yes it is on Medano Beach and you are correct, all the palces are basically in a row. We liked The Office because it was right in front of the Magic (so to speak) and it wasn't as crowded as it was a tad further down the beach. A lot of folks stopped at the first few places because it was less walking...but then it was more crowded.
