I have to remind myself not to let John take my car! I hate being stuck here. But he sneakily asks me around 4:30 am.....when I am not exactly coherent.

That's why I'm doing the SNUBA. I want to make sure I can handle the depth w/ SNUBA first before I go for the C card. I figure I didn't want to spend the $ to get certified if I couldn't handle it

DH and I plan to get certified someday...won't be in time for this cruise though.

I did get my passport photo taken yesterday....it's horrible!

my mom called me early this morning. She went to the boutique shop in Plant City and cleaned them out of ruffle socks and picked up some party dresses for the girls. The store was 1/2 off everything...the socks end up being less than $1 and are really nice good socks. I hope the dresses will be ones they are able to wear on formal and semi formal nights.

With the tree out of here and the room rearranged, the girls finally have their housekeeping area back!

Sleep study went well last night....actually slept about 5 hrs.

Mask was weird - that would definately take getting used to.

I will get the results from last night on Thursday, then if they decide they want me on the machine I was told that it takes about 1 month to get it (after the fitting, etc). We'll see. I got woken up at 530a (ugh) and was on the road by 545a....went back to sleep for a while after I got home.

I am now DISing and watching the news....so far doing nothing like I had planned to do, and having a hard time getting motivated to do it. I need to go take my car in for the oil change stuff, get my tires checked, go talk to someone about selling my timeshare (Sheraton's Vistana Resort if anyone is interested ), go to Walmart, do laundry, clean the house...boy, I'm tired just typing all that! Will need to get going soon though.

Hope everyone's Saturday is starting out well (we know it is for Lisa! )

It's grey...I'm on the south side of the cold front that is coming in - weatherman just said that we're supposed to get to about 80 today, but lots of rain tonight. Should get me motivated to get out now - right???

I am not sure we are having a party...still kind of up in the air. Terrible I know. House Party sent me an invite to host a HIllshire Farm house party....I had to crack up....the thought of sitting around and discussing HF meats and gift baskets just sent me into fits of laughter.

OMG, I was in such a panic. A few days ago I changed my email address here on the DIS from my yahoo account to my verizon account because I wasn't getting DIS email notifications anymore. Well, a message popped up after I made the change that said, "You'll receive an activation email with a link to confirm the email address is valid. You will not be able to post or receive PMs until you activate your account." Of course that never came so I emailed the DIS. But still nothing happened other than an automated response that offered no help. Then I created another account, with my old email address. Same message, same problem. I created a THIRD account with my son's email address...again same message, same problem. I thought I'd never get back on the DIS and I was so sad!!! And panicked...how would I make it through the next 90 days without my DIS friends? I emailed Kaylee and asked her to PM a moderator for me but still nothing. So today, out of despiration, I created a new DIS account (hence my DIS name is now LiserAnn3) using my work email address, which I really didn't want to use because it's a no-no but what else could I do? Well, it worked...no activation message poped up or anything. So, I'm not sure what to think, but all I can say is DON'T TOUCH your DIS account if you don't have to. You really can't get anyone to help you when something goes wrong. The last three days have been awful because of the lack of help. Anyway, I'm so glad to be back and please notice my new user name...I'll be at the bottom of posts from now on but that's fine, I'm just glad to be back on.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sorry you had so much to go through. How frustrating for you. Has any one from the Dis gotten back to you?

Oh I so agree. I was really happy when he was complaining!! I told him he was grumpy and he asked me if that was good or bad and I told him that was good!!

He has had so many people praying for him.....I think this time he has turned the corner and is finally on the road to recovery.

I am going to tell you guys something gross I found out yesterday. Frank lives all by himself in a pretty big house in Arlington VA, right outside the District of Columbia. He has two kitchens in the house.

Last night he told me that before he got sick, his refridge in the kitchen on the lower floor had broken. He forgot to tell us. He says there is food in it. He asked me to go to his house today and clean it out......OH YUCK!! 8 weeks...I told him we will have to throw the refridge out....and he said fine.

I am going there today to find out what is there.

EEWWW!

I need some advice on the return trip home.

We get off the ship at about 8am. Then go to DL for the day.

I found a flight from LAX to Atlanta to Dulles leaving at 10pm that night (red eye) and arriving at Dulles Monday morning.

What time would we need to leave DL to get to LAX in tme for a 10pm flight?

Is this just a crazy plan?

agree leave by 7. DL has lockers, but they are not designed for luggage. We will have to think about this one. Maybe you could stash it in our room at the GC.

I have the today show on and the guest just said you should flip your mattress every 3 months .....does anyone do that??

We flipped our ONCE several years ago about 6 months after we bought it.

I am still in bed, working on this trip. DH brought me Starbucks in bed and all three girls are skiing with the church. Isn't that nice?

I have to get up and take down the Christmas stuff and then off to Frank's.

You so deserve a morning of quiet, in bed, with a Starbucks!

At Scotland, we never had it like that. I remember when I was small at North as it was lots of snowing but nowaday not the same.

I remember my late mum got photos from her late aunt who live in Canada, always send her photo of them with big snowing.

Thank for showing it as it look beautiful but cannot believe how much snowing there!!

Restaurants are here, but not bars.
